Engineering Intern & Upcoming Graduate Programs

As an innovative company advancing materials and new technologies to deliver high performing products, engineers play a critical role at Gore. To support this, we offer internship and upcoming graduate programs specifically designed for engineers. Explore current opportunities.

Engineering Majors

We hire the following majors for a variety of engineering roles:

Aerospace Engineering, Bio & Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering

Industrial Engineering Majors

Internships

Interns can gain hands-on experience by driving a project in their field, network through social activities and professional development workshops, and participate in our Diversity Mentorship Program.

We offer paid summer internships for 10-12 weeks at our sites in Newark, DE; Elkton, MD; Phoenix, AZ; Flagstaff, AZ; and Santa Clara, CA., with relocation support and a housing program for eligible candidates.

We're looking for students who have completed their sophomore year of college and will be returning to school after their internship. Explore current opportunities.

Your Resume: In addition to highlighting work and school experiences, we look for evidence of teamwork, leadership, communication skills, and hands-on aptitude and experience.

Interview Questions: If you are selected for an interview with Gore, be prepared to answer questions relevant to your area of study as well as behavioral questions regarding your personal and professional qualities.

Gore’s upcoming graduate and internship/co-op programs are intended to identify individuals for potential employment upon graduation. Gore does not provide immigration sponsorship or support for these roles. Therefore, to be considered for employment after graduation, you must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship or support. If you would require employer sponsorship to continue to work in the U.S. after graduation, we ask that you withdraw.

An Optional Practical Training (OPT) program is temporary employment that is directly related to an F-1 student’s major area of study.  OPT does not provide indefinite authorization to work in the U.S.
