About the Role

We’re looking for an Art Director who can balance vision with collaboration, someone who understands that great creative happens through teamwork, trust, and shared purpose. This role is central to shaping how our brand shows up in the world, bringing together creativity, strategy, and storytelling in equal measure.

As Art Director, you’ll work closely with the Creative Director, copywriters, producers, and marketing and product teams to concept, design, and deliver seasonal campaigns that connect our audience to the heart of the brand. You’ll play a key role in translating go-to-market strategies and product stories into visual worlds that feel both elevated and grounded in authenticity. You’ll help define and protect the visual identity of the brand while continuously pushing it forward, bringing fresh ideas, refined craft, and creative consistency across every channel. From early concept development to on-set or in-field art direction and final production, you’ll help lead the creative process with a clear eye for design and a collaborative mindset.

This role thrives on momentum. You’ll work across multiple launches and campaigns, each with its own rhythm and challenge. You’ll bring a deep respect for design craft but also an understanding of how creativity drives business, how the work we make not only inspires, but moves product, builds loyalty, and strengthens the brand.  At your core, you’re a team player. You know when to lead, when to listen, and when to roll up your sleeves to make the work better. You bring curiosity, humility, and a genuine love for what you do, and you see each project as an opportunity to raise the bar for what’s possible.

This role will be located at our facility in Bozeman, Montana. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement in the country from which the Associate is employed.  Eligibility is dependent on the responsibilities of the role and business needs, and the Associate must agree to comply with Gore’s work arrangement policies.

  • Maintain a high bar for creative excellence while managing multiple timelines and deliverables
  • Balance creative ambition with business needs, ensuring that every campaign serves both brand and commercial objectives. Pivot when the business needs it and have a calm approach in a fast-paced work environment
