About the Role
We are looking for a Sales Specalist to join our team. This roles is responsible for partnering with the Provider and Field Sales Teams to manage the relationship with the Providers, Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO), hospitals, and clinics to enable the sales process and enhance the customer experience for all product lines across the Medical Products Division. Additionally, responsible for supporting contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment, and compliance in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
Responsibilities
· Support regional field and provider analytics through rigorous data management- facilitating business success by ensuring data availability and accuracy, driving data projects to design and generate crucial information for different business needs and stakeholders where required.
· Manage existing data to create consistent structure and improved accuracy, working from multiple data sources to synthesize and generate key datasets for KPI tracking (sales, prices, contracts, etc.).
· Establish rules for data consistency among regions and projects, preparing and distributing reports with key business information, or customer level product usage and contract requirements.
· Provide data management on key information related to sales, prices, contracts, special agreements, agreement programs (rebates, admin fees, pricing reviews), customer affiliation and GPO membership customer grouping in ERP/CRM systems, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
· Process agreement programs (rebates, admin fees, pricing reviews, reporting requirements, and GPO tier activations) to ensure contract compliance.
· Work with Provider Sales Team and Pricing Committee to ensure our pricing strategies are being executed across all product lines.
· Provide sales, pricing and opportunity information to support the Provider Sales Team for customer reviews and contract negotiations.
· Partner with Contracts team to provide key information to ensure timely preparation, dissemination, and execution of contracts negotiated by the Provider Sales Team and contract specialist.
· Partner with Provider Sales Team to build strong relationships (Sales Leaders, PS, Planning, Quality, Regulatory, etc.).
Required Qualifications
· Experience in data management (contract management a plus) and administration and/or customer data management, or Bachelor's degree (preferably in Accounting, Finance, Math/Statistics or Economics) and experience in data management and data administration and/or customer data management.
· Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications with advanced skills using Microsoft Excel, with working knowledge of ERP systems (JD Edwards EnterpriseOne a plus), and analysis applications such as Tableau, Cognos, SQL.
· Excellent analytical ability and attention to detail.
· Strong communication and presentation skills.
· Knowledge of operational processes associated with Contract Management, including a solid understand of pricing, discounts and rebates.
· Functional understanding of data, data issues and impact of invalid or incorrect data on reporting.
