About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented SAP MDG Techno Functional Analyst with experience in SAP MDG, S/4 HANA to join our Enterprise Digital IT team in Bengaluru, India. As a SAP MDG Techno Functional Analyst you will play a key role in development, configuration, replications and sustainment activities in implementing the Best Practices for SAP MDG solutions as part of the enterprise-wide transformation programs. The ideal candidate will be familiar with data management processes, implementing data validation rules and controls for master data objects governed in MDG platform to ensure the quality and trustworthiness of the data and comfortable working in complex enterprise data environments. You will work closely with global teams contributing towards robust SAP solutions, optimize system performance, and ensure high-quality deliverables. Responsibilities

  • Responsible for coordinating with the OpCo, IT and Enterprise Data stakeholders in the sustainment activities ensuring the incidents and service requests are effectively addressed.
  • Responsible for daily monitoring of MDG system logs, replications, troubleshoot and optimize workflows for performance and scalability, CRs/Enhancements in SAP MDG.
  • Participate in SAP MDG requirements gathering workshops across multiple domains and support in creating functional design documents and configuration rationale documents.
  • Participate in the development and deployment of end-to-end processes to create and maintain Tier1 master data in the SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) platform.
  • Support the functional teams and development team members to ensure overall successful implementations for SAP MDG, and sustainment of the application.
  • Support build activities and documentation for the objects associated with MDG Governance, and integrations with other connected systems to MDG.
  • Support SAP MDG upgrades and Continuous improvements of new MDG capabilities as part of Gore SAP platforms roadmap strategy for better Associate experience and outcomes.
  • Remain current with all relevant technologies and best practices, contributing new ideas to the team where needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven hands-on experience in MDG with respect to MDG-C / MDG-S / MDG-M / MDG consolidation with 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with one full cycle S/4 HANA implementation and/or rollout programs with one or more of the following functional areas - MDG-M/MDG-BP/MDG-F is required.
  • Experience with DRFF/ALE/IDOCS on data replication between MDG and other SAP System and Interfaces (IDOC/SOAP/REST/OData/RFC) and Fiori is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, experience with creating presentations for complex SAP design topics.
  • Experience working on projects/enhancements/operations related tickets in SAP MDG space.
  • Ability to effectively work on Agile Methodology, effectively communicate with stakeholders and other teams.
  • Ability to work with global teams and executing work delivery between onsite and offshore locations.
  • Willingness to travel 10%

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, Math, or Engineering
  • Knowledge of SAP data migration approaches and tools. SAP MDG Certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of the SAP data structures and various master data object configurations.
