About the Role

We are looking for an SAP Integration Developer to join our ETO Development & Integrations team in Bangalore, India. In this role, you will support, enhance, and continuously improve SAP integrations across our enterprise application landscape, with a focus on application management services, operational reliability, and business-driven enhancements. You will help resolve production issues, deliver integration changes, and collaborate with functional, technical, and business teams to enable reliable end-to-end data flow across SAP and connected systems. Responsibilities

  • Provide application management support for SAP integrations, including incident analysis, troubleshooting, root cause identification, and timely resolution of production issues.
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy integration enhancements that improve business processes, increase reliability, and support evolving transformation needs.
  • Analyze business processes and technical requirements to create scalable integration designs, data mappings, and transformation logic between SAP and connected applications.
  • Develop and configure integrations using SAP integration technologies, including message routing, mapping, transformation, and error handling capabilities.
  • Monitor integration performance, analyze failures, improve alerting and logging, and implement corrective actions that strengthen operational stability.
  • Design, maintain, and support application programming interfaces and integration services, including documentation, security considerations, and lifecycle management.
  • Conduct unit, integration, regression, and performance testing to validate support fixes, enhancement releases, and production readiness.
  • Collaborate with functional analysts, business users, application teams, and technical teams to clarify requirements, coordinate support activities, and deliver solutions aligned with business needs.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5-7+ years of SAP experience with a strong understanding of SAP architecture, integration capabilities, and enterprise application landscapes.
  • Experience supporting SAP integrations in an application management services or production support environment, including incident resolution, root cause analysis, and operational monitoring.
  • Experience delivering integration enhancements from requirements analysis through design, development, testing, deployment, and post-deployment support.
  • Experience with SAP integration technologies such as SAP Cloud Integration, SAP Business Technology Platform, SAP Process Integration/Process Orchestration, IDocs, OData, web services, or related tools.
  • Knowledge of integration patterns and best practices, including message queuing, event-driven architecture, exception handling, logging, and retry strategies.
  • Understanding of data formats such as XML, JSON, EDI, and related data mapping or transformation techniques.
  • Ability to translate business processes and requirements into technical integration solutions, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

 

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing, medical devices, life sciences, or other regulated industries.
  • Experience applying artificial intelligence, automation, or intelligent monitoring capabilities to improve incident triage, root cause analysis, testing, documentation, or support efficiency.
  • Experience improving support processes, monitoring practices, incident trends, or service management outcomes for SAP integration solutions.
