About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Power Platform Developer to join our dynamic GMDIT team in Bangalore, India. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform. You will work closely with various departments to understand their needs and create applications that enhance business processes and improve efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop custom applications using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, etc.).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft services and third-party applications.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing Power Platform applications.
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting to ensure the quality and functionality of applications.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Power Platform features and updates to continuously improve solutions.
- Document development processes, configurations, and user guides.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in developing applications using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
- Strong understanding of data modeling, database design, and SQL.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 services, including SharePoint, Teams, and Dynamics 365.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, including experience with creating presentations for complex Power Platform design and solution topics.
- Travel ~10%.
Desired Qualifications
- Microsoft Power Platform certifications, experience with Azure services & integration, and demonstrated knowledge of programming languages such as C#, JavaScript, or Python.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, including experience in creating custom connectors and APIs for Power Platform.
- Experience interfacing Power Platform applications with SAP considered a plus.
