About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Configuration Specialist – ARIBA/SBN to join our Global Capability Center in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will support the design, implementation, and enhancement of SAP ARIBA/SBN solutions. You will work closely with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Technology teams to deliver effective solutions that improve inventory visibility, warehouse efficiency, fulfillment, and operational performance. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in ARIBA/SBN, with good working knowledge of SAP MM, PP, Inventory Management (IM), and EWM processes

Responsibilities

  • Requirement Gathering & Analysis: Work with business and functional teams to understand warehouse, inventory, and logistics requirements, document business processes, and translate requirements into STP Ariba/SBN functional specifications and configuration needs.
  • SAP Ariba/SBN Configuration: Configure and support core SAP ARIBA/SBN, MM processes including Buying & Invoicing, Sourcing, Contracts, Supplier Lifecycle & Performance (SLP), Guided Buying, Catalog Management etc.
  • SAP MM/IM/EWM/PP/QM Integration: Support integration between SAP and Materials Management.
  • Ariba/SBN Process Support & Optimization: Analyze existing warehouse processes and identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy, warehouse productivity, fulfillment, and operational efficiency using standard SAP functionality.
  • Functional & Technical Collaboration: Work with ABAP, integration, and technical teams on functional specifications for interfaces, reports, enhancements, forms, workflows, and integrations with SAP and non-SAP applications, SAP CPI/CIG (Cloud Integration Gateway), IDocs, APIs, Web Service
  • Production Support & Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve functional issues across Ariba/SBN, MM processes, perform root-cause analysis, and provide timely support for procurement.

Required Qualifications

  • 5–8+ years of SAP experience, with hands-on experience in SAP Ariba & SAP Business Network (SBN) processes, preferably in SAP S/4HANA environments.
  • Strong functional knowledge of SAP Ariba/SBN, MM, including purchasing, Inventory Management, Valuation etc.
  • Good working knowledge of SAP MM, PP, QM and Inventory Management (IM), including goods receipts, goods issues, transfer postings, stock movements, and integration with warehouse processes.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP configuration, with the ability to understand business requirements, perform configuration, and support functional changes within the processes.
  • Experience in SAP implementation, rollout, enhancement, or support projects, covering requirement gathering, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to investigate functional issues, perform root-cause analysis, and work with technical teams to resolve Ariba/SBN, MM related problems, Monitor PO, ASN, Invoice, and Order Confirmation transactions, Handle network integration issues and supplier connectivity challenges
  • Good communication and collaboration skills

 

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working with SAP Planning solutions, preferably in a global or multi-site environment.
  • Exposure to SAP modules such as MM, EWM etc.,
  • Experience working in an international multi-cultural environment considered a plus
