About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Configuration Specialist – Logistics & Warehouse Management (LWM) to join our Global Capability Center in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will support the design, implementation, and enhancement of SAP S/4HANA warehouse, inventory, logistics, and fulfillment solutions. You will work closely with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Technology teams to deliver effective solutions that improve inventory visibility, warehouse efficiency, fulfillment, and operational performance. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in SAP EWM, with good working knowledge of SAP MM, Inventory Management (IM), and warehouse processes

 

Responsibilities

  • Requirement Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate with business teams to understand warehouse, inventory, and logistics requirements and translate them into SAP EWM/MM/IM functional specifications.
  • SAP EWM Configuration: Configure and support inbound, outbound, putaway, picking, packing, internal movements, stock transfers, physical inventory, and warehouse order processes.
  • SAP MM/IM Integration: Support EWM integration with MM/IM for goods receipts/issues, stock transfers, transfer postings, stock types, and inventory synchronization.
  • Process Optimization: Analyze warehouse processes and identify improvements in inventory accuracy, productivity, fulfillment, and operational efficiency using standard SAP functionality.
  • 3PL & Automation Integration: Support EWM integration with 3PLs, warehouse automation, and external logistics partners, including interface requirements, testing, and issue resolution.
  • Technical Collaboration: Work with ABAP, integration, and technical teams on interfaces, reports, enhancements, forms, workflows, and SAP/non-SAP integrations.
  • Testing & Deployment: Prepare and execute unit, integration, regression, and UAT testing. Support defect resolution, cutover, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Production Support: Troubleshoot EWM/MM/IM issues, perform root-cause analysis, and provide timely operational support.
  • Documentation & Training: Maintain functional documentation, process flows, test scripts, and user guides. Provide knowledge transfer and training to business and support teams.

Required Qualifications

  • 5–8+ years of SAP experience, with hands-on expertise in SAP Logistics and Warehouse Management, preferably in SAP S/4HANA environments.
  • Strong SAP EWM functional knowledge, covering inbound, outbound, putaway, picking, packing, internal warehouse movements, stock transfers, physical inventory, and warehouse execution processes.
  • Good SAP MM/Inventory Management (IM) knowledge, including goods receipts, goods issues, transfer postings, stock movements, and integration with warehouse processes.
  • Hands-on SAP configuration experience, with the ability to understand business requirements, perform configuration, and support functional changes across EWM and related logistics processes.
  • Implementation and support experience across SAP projects, including requirement gathering, configuration, testing, deployment, rollout, enhancements, and post-go-live support.
  • Integration experience with SAP EWM, MM/IM, 3PL providers, warehouse automation solutions, and other SAP/non-SAP applications.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, including functional issue investigation, root-cause analysis, and collaboration with technical teams to resolve EWM, MM, and IM issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with business users, functional consultants, developers, integration teams, and stakeholders.
  • Good verbal and written English skills, with experience preparing functional specifications, process documentation, test scenarios, test scripts, and user guides.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working with warehouse and distribution operations, preferably in a global or multi-site environment.
  • Exposure to SAP Transportation Management (TM), warehouse automation, RF solutions, or mobile warehouse technologies.
  • Experience working in an international multi-cultural environment considered a plus.
