About the Role

We are looking for an SAP MDG Techno Functional Analyst to join our Gore Medical Digital IT (GMDIT) team in Bangalore, India. Working as an SAP MDG Techno Functional Analyst within GMDIT team, you will have the power to make a real impact. The SAP MDG Techno Functional Analyst’s responsibilities include helping Gore Enterprise with master data design, project implementation, configuration, development, replications, maintenance, and guidance on Best Practices for SAP MDG solutions. The SAP MDG Techno Functional Analyst will also be responsible for implementing the data management processes, rules and controls for Tier1 master data objects to ensure the quality and trustworthiness of the data.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for coordinating with the OpCo, IT and Enterprise Data stakeholders to understand the specific master data needs and be able to translate those requirements into a comprehensive solution.
• Participate in SAP MDG requirements gathering workshops across multiple domains and translating into functional design documents and configuration rationale documents.
• Responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end processes to create and maintain Tier1 master data in the SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) platform.
• Collaborate with functional teams and provide guidance to development team members to ensure overall successful implementations for SAP MDG, and sustainment of the application.
• Responsible for upholding the key data principles of SAP S/4HANA MDG architecture, functionality, MDG data Modelling and Process Modelling.
• Responsible for build activities, code reviews and documentation for the objects associated with involving ABAP, Web Dynpro, BADIs, BRF+, Classes and Methods, and integrations with other connected systems to MDG.
• Responsible for SAP MDG upgrades as part of the overall SAP upgrade projects.
• Troubleshoot and optimize workflows for performance and scalability, CRs/Enhancements in SAP MDG.
• Continuous improvements in exploring and assessing new MDG capabilities, and application of those for better Associate experience and outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, Math, or Engineering.
• Hands-on knowledge in MDG-specific ABAP technologies with respect to MDG-C / MDG-S / MDG-M / MDG consolidation (exposure to other SAP application development tools such as CDS Views, ODATA, etc. is an added advantage).
• 8 plus years of SAP experience with two full cycle S/4 HANA implementation and/or rollout programs with one or more of the following functional areas: MDG-M, OR MDG-BP, MDG-C and MDG-S OR MDG-Finance.
• Hands on experience in performing MDG Configurations and Customizations in areas like Data Modeling, UI Modeling, Process Modeling, Data Replication Framework, Key Mapping, rules, and derivations, workflows, BRF+.
• Experience in Interfaces (IDOC/SOAP/REST/OData/RFC) and Fiori is preferred.
• Experience with ALE / IDOCS on data replication between MDG and other SAP Systems.
• Experience working on projects/enhancements/operations related tickets in SAP MDG space.
• Ability to effectively work on Agile Methodology, effectively communicate with stakeholders and other teams.
• Ability to work with global teams and coordinating work delivery between onsite and offshore locations.
• Willingness to travel 10%.

Desired Qualifications

• SAP MDG Certification preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP data migration approaches and tools.
• Knowledge of the SAP data structures and various master data object configurations.
