About the Role
We are seeking an SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central – Functional Specialist to join our Human Resources Digital Services & Products team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will be responsible for the ongoing sustainment, stability, and optimization of Employee Central as the enterprise system of record. You will own SAP S/4 HR Mini Master and SAP S/4 integration using BIB replication, ensuring reliable day‑to‑day data flow and system performance. While the role is primarily focused on steady‑state support, you will also contribute to enhancement initiatives and continuous improvement efforts as needed. This role partners closely with HR process and business stakeholders, translating defined business needs into scalable SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central functional designs and configurations.
Responsibilities
- Sustain and support SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central in a production environment
- Own workforce data structures including jobs, positions, organizations, MDF objects, and workflows
- Own SAP S/4 integration for Employee Central, including BIB replication design, monitoring, and issue resolution
- Support incident resolution, root‑cause analysis, and defect remediation
- Execute testing for fixes, releases, and minor enhancements
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of configuration workbooks, functional specifications, process flows, and user guides for reference and audit purposes.
- Support system upgrades and participate in release activities
- Adjust configurations for new releases, patches, and updates, implementing optimizations and enhancements as appropriate
- Evaluate new module capabilities and assess requested changes to recommend improvements that enhance user experience and process efficiency
Required Qualifications
- 7–10+ years of hands-on SAP SuccessFactors experience, with deep expertise in Employee Central
- SAP SuccessFactors Certification in Employee Central with strong understanding of Employee Central processes and their integration with other SuccessFactors modules.
- Hands‑on experience with SAP S/4 HR Mini Master configuration and SAP S/4 integration using BIB replication.
- Strong understanding of HR data models and system‑of‑record principles.
- Proven expertise in SAP configuration tools, techniques, and best practices.
- Proven experience supporting SAP implementations and post‑go‑live environments.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve configuration issues.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills; ability to create clear documentation on complex SAP design topics.
- Ability to work effectively with global teams, coordinating work delivery between onsite and offshore locations.
- Familiarity with industry best practices for SAP SuccessFactors configuration and optimization.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with multiple end-to-end SAP SuccessFactors implementation projects, including global rollouts.
- Expertise in SAP Integration Suite for seamless system integrations.
- Experience with Master Data Integration (MDI).
