About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Developer - Pulse to join our GMDIT team in Bangalore, India. In this role, you will focus on implementing and leveraging Salesforce Pulse for real-time data insights and proactive business monitoring. In addition, you will translate complex business needs into scalable, efficient technical solutions, ensuring our platform is optimized for performance, user experience, and data-driven decision-making. Responsibilities
• Design and develop scalable, secure, and customized solutions using Apex, Aura, OmniStudio, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other Salesforce technologies to meet specific business requirements.
• Implement and optimize Salesforce Pulse features, including setting up key metrics, performance monitoring, and ensuring the seamless flow of data to provide real-time business insights.
• Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools to ensure seamless data exchange.
• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical solutions, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Automate business processes and workflows using Salesforce Flow, Process Builder, and other automation tools to improve operational efficiency.
• Conduct thorough testing, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing, to ensure the quality, stability, and performance of developed solutions.
• Partner closely with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to gather requirements, define solutions, and ensure successful project delivery within an Agile methodology framework.
• Troubleshoot and debug technical issues, providing timely resolution and support to maintain the reliability of the Salesforce platform.
• Create and maintain clear technical and operational documentation, including design documents, release notes, and user guides.
• Remain current with all relevant technologies and best practices, contributing new ideas to the team where needed.
Required Qualifications
• 6+ years of Salesforce development experience, with strong expertise in Apex, LWC, OmniStudio, and multi-cloud (Revenue/MFG preferred).
• Proven experience with ERP/API integrations.
• Familiarity with Salesforce data modeling, security models, and data management best practices.
• Proven experience in Salesforce application development and customization.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, experience with creating presentations for complex Salesforce related topics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent collaboration abilities (with both technical and non-technical audiences), including demonstrated capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively across diverse stakeholders.
• Experience with event-driven integrations (Platform Events, CDC), as well as familiarity with Azure/AWS or mobile app integration.
• CI/CD (Copado, Git) experience as well as relevant Salesforce certifications considered a plus.
• Experience in Jira/Confluence related to Story status/management of overall work initiatives, in addition to familiarity with core SAFE fundamentals, including Product Increment preparation and planning is a plus.
• Travel ~10%.

• Experience with Manufacturing, Medical Devices, Life Sciences industry is a strong positive.
• Experience working in an international multi-cultural environment considered a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
