About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Support Administrator to join our GMDIT team in Bangalore, India. In this role, you will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of our Salesforce Platform (SalesCloud, ServiceCloud, Manufacturing Cloud, Revenue Cloud, etc.), as well as for partnering with Salesforce developers, business analysts, product owners/managers, and other functional stakeholders to ensure that Salesforce meets the business needs. Additionally, this role will actively participate in resolving user requests (via ServiceNow tickets) often collaboration/working with other Salesforce Support Administrators throughout the world.  This is an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team, expand your expertise across Salesforce technologies, and help shape our digital transformation journey.

Responsibilities

•    Configure, Maintain, and Support the Salesforce platform (Sales, Service, and Manufacturing and Revenue Clouds).  
•    Manage user access, implement configuration enhancements, provide user support, managing integrations, and related system support (i.e. CVent, GForce, Adobe Sign, Formstack, Qualtrics, Tableau, and Docebo).  
•    Perform Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for Salesforce platform, Salesforce Clouds, and related/integrated applications.  
•    Manage data and security within Salesforce thru performing data uploads and ensuring data integrity.  
•    Set up and maintain user roles, profiles, security settings and permission sets.
•    Support updates, patches, and Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Flows, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings, dashboards, and reports in partnership with Salesforce Developers.  
•    Collaborate with cross-functional team to meet business and performance requirements for Salesforce platform and Clouds.
•    Remain current with all relevant Salesforce Certifications, technologies and best practices, contributing new ideas to the team where needed.

 

Required Qualifications

•    2+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator or in a similar support role.  
•    Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into priorities/goals, drive performance and engagement through coaching and feedback, measures outcomes and hold others accountable for results.  
•    Experience as a Salesforce Administrator with SalesCloud, ServiceCloud, and CommerceCloud, ideally Salesforce Admin Certified.  
•    Experience in incident management, task management, and problem management.  Understand of and exposure to Salesforce Configuration, ideally App Builder Certified.
•    Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, experience with creating presentations for complex Salesforce related topics.  
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent collaboration abilities (with both technical and non-technical audiences), including demonstrated capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively across diverse stakeholders.
•    Experience/Certifications in Revenue Cloud and Manufacturing Cloud preferred.
•    Experience in Jira/Confluence related to Story status/management of overall work initiatives considered a plus.
•    Familiarity with core SAFE fundamentals, including Product Increment preparation and planning is a plus.
•    Travel ~10%.

 

Desired Qualifications

•    Experience with Manufacturing, Medical Devices, Life Sciences industry is a strong positive.
•    Experience working in an international multi-cultural environment considered a plus.
•    Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
