About the Role
We are looking for a Dealer Services Associate to join our team in Bozeman, MT who will support SITKA Gear Wholesale Dealers & Retail Stores. The Dealer Services Associate will play a critical role in providing top class service to retailers as well as provide inside support to help drive the wholesale channel and retail growth.
The Dealer Services Associate will be expected to maintain operating efficiency by acting as a liaison between customers, account sales team, and other departments ensuring accurate order entry and processing, scalable growth of the wholesale channel and operational support for the business. The successful candidate for this position will possess excellent communication skills, maintain analytical accuracy, have a profound understanding of business flow, and be very detail oriented.
This position will be located at our facility in Bozeman, Montana, with the possibility of a hybrid work arrangement
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary inside contact for all SITKA Gear dealers & distributors
- Serve as the primary contact to the Sales Team to provide account and order status information
- Participate in operational functions such as order outbound management, document sending, process creation, and other tasks
- Create and analyze sales reports to drive continued sales growth
- Manage sales orders and credits with accounting, operations and leadership teams
- Create and analyze inventory and sell-through reports to drive continued sales growth
- Provide daily phone support which includes fielding calls for immediate order placement, order changes, return authorizations, delivery status, and more
- Support marketing efforts to educate and inform retailers
Required Qualifications
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) including listening skills
- Proven ability to work independently as well as interdependently within the team
- Demonstrated customer orientation and responsiveness in a premium outdoor brand
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and resolve problems promptly
- Experience performing root cause analysis to create solutions
- Ability to troubleshoot and address challenges and adjust to constantly changing customer needs
- Ability to comfortably navigate Microsoft Excel
- At least 18 months experience using SAP ERP, EDI, & Elastic B2B order management tools or equivalents
- Must be within a commutable distance to Bozeman, MT
- Ability to travel up to 10%
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years in a sales related role OR a high school diploma and 5 years in a sales related role
- Strong desire to work in the outdoor industry
This position offers a hybrid work arrangement in the country from which the Associate is employed. Eligibility is dependent on the responsibilities of the role and business needs, and the Associate must agree to comply with Gore’s work arrangement policies.
