About the Role

We are looking for a Complaint Clinical Specialist who will be a part of the Office of Medical Affairs.

 

This is a remote position, and you can work from home in most locations within the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Review, interpret, and summarize complaint‑related medical records to ensure accuracy and clinical relevance
  • Construct clear, clinically accurate comprehensive summaries for complaints and other medical review requests
  • Participate as a clinical stakeholder in cross‑functional complaint investigations and the closeout process and engage effectively with individuals across diverse roles and functions.
  • Provide medical judgment to assist in select regulatory, clinical investigation, compliance, or legal matters.
  • Ensure appropriate clinical coding and documentation per applicable regulatory guidelines
  • Establishing functional expertise and serving as subject-matter expert for post market safety processes 

 

Required Qualifications

  • Licensed or certified medical professional (e.g., RN, MD, PA, NP, or equivalent)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with cardiovascular or general surgical patient care
  • Medical or scientific writing experience
  • Legal nurse consultant training or relevant legal‑medical experience
  • Demonstrated experience reviewing, interpreting, and summarizing medical records
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross‑functional teams
  • Strong organizational skills with flexibility and attention to detail
  • High level of self‑motivation and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel up to 10%

 

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in vascular or cardiac interventional therapies
  • Familiarity with IMDRF coding
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in medical device complaint handling, product surveillance, or related safety processes

 

This position offers a remote work arrangement in the country from which the Associate is employed. Eligibility is dependent on the responsibilities of the role and business needs, and the Associate must agree to comply with Gore’s work arrangement policies.
