About the Role
We are seeking a Master Data Specialist to support the digital transformation of our US Fabrics Facilities by creating, managing, and maintaining high-quality product data across multiple systems. In this role, you will ensure data integrity through strong governance, data modeling, and performance improvement practices, while driving operational efficiency and consistency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including New Product Development, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, and Sales—to ensure product data meets all business requirements. This position is also responsible for enabling data migration to new systems, resolving data quality issues, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing sustainable solutions, all while promoting the use of data standards and terminology aligned with industry best practices.
Responsibilities
- Execute daily master data creation and maintenance in ERP systems (including SAP MDG and S4/Hana), MES manufacturing execution systems, PLM Product lifecycle management systems and other supply chain systems for defined configuration models for USE Fabrics plants.
- Perform data-related quality system actions for accurate data maintenance within business required service levels.
- Create working partnerships with global business teams and build credibility to facilitate data change process, ensure data consistency, and provide recommendations for data and process improvement.
- Engage business to translate business requirements into configuration data details for accurate and timely data changes, data migration preparation, especially when moving to SAP S/4 and/or a new PLM system.
- Partner with Application Specialists to resolve production issues related to configuration data.
- Collaborate with Business Process Specialists, Data Stewards, Divisional Supply Chain and Manufacturing Process Champions.
- Provide data/application subject matter expertise for system upgrades, new capability pursuits, and new systems implementations including SAP.
Required Qualifications
- A college degree (preferably in supply chain or data-related fields), plus at least 1 year of experience working with SAP and/or MDG data.
- Demonstrated understanding of product data creation and maintenance that supports supply chain processes.
- Ability to understand how data flows across different systems and processes.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to follow documented procedures and standards and ensure others do the same.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work with large data sets in Excel or similar tools.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing environments.
- Able to work effectively with global teams and quickly integrate into new environments.
