About the Role

The Americas Regional HR Leader is a senior HR role responsible for leading a team of HR Partners and HR Advisors in the United States while also serving as a strategic HR Business Partner (HRBP) to designated corporate functions. This hybrid role combines people leadership, operational excellence, and strategic partnership to drive business performance, organizational effectiveness, and a high-quality Associate experience.

 

This position will be located at our facility in Newark, Delaware, with the possibility of a hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of HR Partners and HR Advisors
  • Establish clear priorities, goals, and performance standards aligned to regional and global HR strategies
  • Ensure consistent delivery of HR services while allowing for local adaptation based on country-specific needs
  • Drive a high-performing, collaborative team culture focused on accountability, service excellence, and continuous improvement
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders within assigned enabling functions (e.g., Finance, Strategy, Business Development, GBS, Legal)
  • Partner with leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Provide guidance on Associate relations, performance management, and leadership effectiveness
  • Influence decision-making using data, insights, and HR expertise
  • Lead talent management processes including succession planning, P&D, and leadership development
  • Identify capability gaps and implement targeted development strategies
  • Support change management initiatives and organizational transformations
  • Champion a positive, inclusive, and engaging Associate experience across the region
  • Address complex Associate relations issues with sound judgment and consistency
  • Partner with DEI and engagement teams to drive culture initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, including HR Business Partnering and people leadership
  • Demonstrated success partnering with senior leaders in corporate functions
  • Strong leadership and team development capabilities
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to translate business needs into HR solutions
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Deep knowledge of HR practices including talent management, Associate relations, and organizational design
  • Ability to balance strategic work with operational execution
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel up to 5%

 

This position offers a hybrid work arrangement in the country from which the Associate is employed. Eligibility is dependent on the responsibilities of the role and business needs, and the Associate must agree to comply with Gore’s work arrangement policies.
