About the Role

We are looking for an IT Applications Developer to join the Gore Fabrics IT Team focused in Artificial Intelligence. In this role you will be developing solutions using AI tools to solve different business problems. You will be working with different business functions: R&D, Operations, Sales, etc to apply AI to help with issues impacting the business today. 

 

This position will be located at our facility in Elkton, Maryland, with the possibility of a hybrid work arrangement. 

Pay and Benefits:

  • $74,000 - $82,000 per year

Responsibilities

  • The Application development/configuration area of focus is on designing, configuring and delivering software
  • IT Applications Development: Analyzing, programming, and configuration of end user applications and/or systems software
  • IT Systems Analyst: Designing information systems that are appropriate for users' needs and consistent with the overall design of the organization's information systems architecture
  • IT Systems Administration: Performing systems administration work focusing on configuring, maintaining, and generating reports within IT systems

 

Required Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a B.S. or M.S./MBA program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cyber/Information Security, Data Science/Analytics, BIS/MIS or majors in related disciplines with transferable knowledge and experience and due to graduate December 2024 – August 2025
  • Prior Gore internship experience required 
  • Demonstrated course work and/or ability in general purpose programing languages such as:  C# or Java, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, PHP, Python 
  • Enthusiasm and energy for IT in a manufacturing and operations environment 
  • Strong interpersonal skills  
  • Drive and initiative; a self-starter 
  • Demonstrated ability to drive projects or initiatives through to completion 
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as with a team 

 

This position offers a hybrid work arrangement in the country from which the Associate is employed. Eligibility is dependent on the responsibilities of the role and business needs, and the Associate must agree to comply with Gore’s work arrangement policies.
