About the Role
We’re seeking a strategic and collaborative Global Fabrics Idea to Opportunity (ITO) Value Stream Lead (VSL) to drive process excellence across Gore Fabrics. This role translates business strategy into actionable goals, fosters cross-functional alignment, and champions transformation within the ITO domain. The VSL is responsible for optimizing end-to-end processes to eliminate waste and increase efficiency. Key duties include analyzing processes, facilitating cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement. This role requires strong analytical skills, and the ability to influence a cross functional team of stakeholders.
This position will be located in Elkton, Maryland, with the possibility of a hybrid work arrangement.
Pay and Benefits:
- $135,000 - $149,000 per year

Responsibilities
- Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with global functional leaders to define business needs, shape and prioritize requirements, user stories, and bridge the gap between functional process owners and digital teams.
- Process Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert in ITO processes, ensuring alignment with application capabilities and industry best practices.
- Future-State Design: Lead the vision development of future-state processes and documentation in sync with Gore Fabrics’ systems architecture roadmap.
- Digital Enablement: Manage scope, document requirements, and oversee delivery of digital capabilities. Support training, testing, and go-live readiness.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison influencing leaders and stakeholders and communicating between the value stream and business functions, ensuring transparency and alignment with strategic priorities.
- Process Modeling: Identify and address business impact gaps, prioritizing core process improvements, and coordinating resolution across teams.
- Change Leadership: Drive adoption of new processes through functional SMEs and change management strategies.
- Agile Software Development: Lead Agile product development by managing roadmaps, prioritizing backlogs based on business value, and guiding cross-functional teams to deliver iterative, high-impact solutions across multiple platforms.
- Systems Integration: Navigate complex interactions between PLM (Centric), ERP (SAP/legacy E1), CRM (Salesforce), MDM (MDG SAP), Analytics/Reporting (MDE), IMS (ETQ Reliance), and other critical applications.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, engineering, or computer science
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Idea to Opportunity domain, with deep knowledge of product data used in PLM solutions and process interactions between systems
- Minimum of 3 years of experience driving design and implementation of future-state processes in alignment with IT systems
- Broad exposure to global business functions and plant operations, with a strong grasp of Gore’s culture and end-to-end process thinking
- Proven ability to integrate diverse functions and dismantle organizational silos through exceptional communication and facilitation, fostering alignment and collaboration across complex, cross-functional teams
- Proven ability to lead change and deliver results in dynamic environments
- Analytical systems-thinking mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
- Experience managing multi-regional or divisional process and data requirements
- Track record of establishing new capabilities that drive business value
- Strong collaboration and team-building skills including risk mitigation
- Requires ability to travel approximately 10%
Desired Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Centric PLM and/or ERP SAP S/4 HANA solutions and system integration
- Agile Software Development Certification (e.g. SCRUM, SAFe)
- Experience assessing digital readiness and implementing process management strategies building future state business process design by being experienced in using ARIS or other Process Design Tools
