About the Role

The Americas Commercial Organization is a high performing team consisting of regional segment sales leaders, regional marketing leader, regional business development leader and a regional inside sales leader.  We support the ingredient business unit within the Fabrics Operating Company and all of the customers in the Americas region across garments, footwear, gloves and accessories.  We drive profitable revenue growth in the 3 digit millions.  We are supported by a financial analyst, HR business partner and admin to round out our team.

 

The Regional Inside Sales Leader is responsible for enabling an excellent customer experience for our external partners and factories through supporting our Gore-Tex Fabrics Inside Sales associates  across all 3 segments (Consumer, Defense and Safety) in our Americas organization.  They will perform all aspects of functional and people leadership for the regional Inside Sales team.

 

This role will be located at our facility in Elkton, Maryland.

Pay and Benefits:

  • $150,000 - $175,000 per year
  • Roles above $150k are eligible for the variable pay program each fiscal year, based on defined business performance metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Fosucing on setting a consistent strategy, standard and approach for how we handle our customers and appropriately resource team workload
  • Leading a team of 15 Inside Sales associates (including 3 associates in Hong Kong) to provide internal account support, order management services and issue analysis and resolution, in compliance with local procedures and agreed service levels 
  • Aligining with other Regional Inside Sales Leaders to ensure consistency of processes and procedures for Gore-Tex Fabrics business globally
  • Reporting directly to the Amercias Regional Commercial Leader with strong dotted lines to the regional segment sales leaders
  • Being a member of the Americas Regional Commercial Leadership team

 

Required Qualifications

  • Relative industry experience in sales operations or customer service
  • Inside sales background and experience navigating across multiple ERP/Order management tools and CRM systems and reporting tools
  • A minimum of 3 years of strong leadership experience
  • Strong communication skills to lead and drive outcomes effectively
  • Followership within team with ability to coach Associates for performance against performance and development goals
  • Proven cross functional collaboration (sales and product) and familiarity with Internal supply and demand activities such as sales forecasting
  • Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into priorities/goals, drive performance and engagement through coaching and feedback, measures outcomes and hold others accountable for results
  • Ability to travel 10%
