About the Role
We are looking for a Global Supplier Quality Leader to join our team. We are seeking a strategic and experienced Supplier Quality Leader to drive supplier quality performance, ensure compliance with industry standards, and foster continuous improvement across our supply chains. This role will be pivotal in developing and executing supplier quality strategies that align with our supplier management business goals and regulatory requirements.
This position will be located at our facility in Elkton, Maryland, with the possibility of a hybrid remote work arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.
Pay and Benefits:
- $138,000 - $161,000 per year
- Roles above $150k are eligible for the variable pay program each fiscal year, based on defined business performance metrics.

Responsibilities
- Build and develop a Global Supplier Quality Team in alignment with industry best practices and the Overall Supplier Management Strategy
- Develop and lead the Global Supplier Quality Strategy across Five Business Units, as part of the Overall Global Supplier Management Strategy
- Ensure supplier quality systems are established and maintained in compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100, and other relevant standards
- Develop a supplier audit strategy and ensure assessments and qualification processes are aligned with the strategy
- Develop, implement, monitor and report globally aligned actionable supplier quality performance metrics and KPIs
- Ensure Supplier Quality Team members collaborate with Procurement, Engineering, and Manufacturing to resolve supplier quality issues with urgency
- Ensure quality continuous improvement and risk mitigation initiatives with suppliers are prioritized and executed to agreed upon timelines
- Effectively lead a team of supplier quality assurance/engineers with a focus on growing the team’s capabilities, maintaining compliance and delivering value to the businesses and customers
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or Supply Chain
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in supplier quality management, preferably in automotive, aerospace, or electronics industries.
- Strong knowledge of quality systems and standards (e.g. ISO 9001).
- Proven leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams and supplier relationships.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage ambiguity
- Ability to travel up to 20%
Desired Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of industry specific regulations standards, specifically IATF 16949 and / or AS9100
- Certifications such as ASQ CQE, Six Sigma Black Belt, or Lead Auditor are a plus
