About the Role

We are looking for an FP&A Analyst to join the Gore Medical Finance Team. In this role, you will provide financial planning and analysis support to the Medical Finance Leader, Medical Leadership Team, and Enterprise Leadership Team, while partnering across operating groups—including Commercial Regions, Supply Chain, and Product & Innovation—to drive standardized and insight‑driven FP&A processes and analysis. This position sits within a small, collaborative team that brings together FP&A, data management, and reporting capabilities, enabling this role to focus on providing high‑quality financial analysis.

 

This is a remote position, and you can work from home in most locations within the United States.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support the annual financial planning process for Gore Medical
  • Drive the creation of monthly reporting packages for leadership, including analysis of actuals versus forecast and performance drivers
  • Collaborate with operating groups to guide FP&A processes through proactive communication, template management, and timeline coordination
  • Partner cross‑functionally to monitor and communicate risks related to market trends, emerging competitive threats, and key performance indicators
  • Perform strategic ad hoc financial analysis to assess business performance, inform decision-making, and address leadership questions
  • Identify and recommend opportunities to improve process efficiencies, reporting quality, and data accuracy
  • Support the training of Medical Associates to strengthen financial fluency, discipline, and accountability across the organization

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance or business analysis
  • Actively demonstrates Gore’s guiding principles and fosters an environment of inclusion, authenticity, and humility
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, supported by solid business acumen
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Motivated contributor capable of balancing independent ownership with strong teamwork and cross‑functional collaboration
  • Ability to travel up to 15%

 

Desired Qualifications

  • Proficiency with Power BI for data visualization and reporting
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Accounting concepts (GAAP and/or IFRS)

 

This position offers a remote work arrangement in the country from which the Associate is employed.  Eligibility is dependent on the responsibilities of the role and business needs, and the Associate must agree to comply with Gore’s work arrangement policies.
