About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated Global Brand Manager to join the growing Thoracic Category of Gore's Aortic business. In this role, you will be accountable for global product lifecycle strategy and facilitating the commercial growth of current and future devices for treatment of aneurysms and dissections. This includes strategies to increase global engagement and product adoption by cardiac and cardiovascular surgeons, a key customer segment for growth in the ascending aorta and aortic arch. You will collaborate with global key opinion leading physicians while working closely with global and regional team members across disciplines, including sales, marketing communications, engineering, manufacturing, clinical affairs, regulatory, health economics, legal, and finance to ensure that product and business objectives are achieved.
This position offers flexible work arrangement options, including on-site at our facility in Flagstaff, Arizona, hybrid or fully remote in most locations within the United States.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Regional Brand Managers to define and implement marketing strategies to maximize the utilization and financial return on current products while preparing the market for successful launch of future portfolio innovations
- Partner with Global Category Leader on product roadmap development and refinement based on therapeutic, competitive, and customer insights
- Collaborate with Regional Brand Managers to develop and manage the global market model, including disease state, procedure, and product dynamics.
- Establish a clear brand strategy that informs commercial priorities and tactics.
- Direct global go-to-market strategies for new launches, including market and customer requirements, launch cadence, core messaging, and promotional tactics.
- Propose, evaluate, and execute product lifecycle management activities related to SKU rationalization, launch, and discontinuation, using market research, customer input, and internal stakeholder feedback to drive decisions.
- Partner with Global Product Specialists to develop and communicate product value propositions and claims with regional partners and support integrated evidence plan (IEP) processes to develop data generation plans and priorities.
- Interface with customers and key opinion leaders on product usage, therapeutic needs, and clinical research activities.
- Develop and maintain an accurate global product demand plan and partner with supply chain to meet market needs while efficiently utilizing global product inventory.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to effectively communicate commercial product value propositions and core messaging to the market.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 4 years of product management (e.g., marketing, product specialist) experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industries
- Experience in marketing and marketing-related business practices (marketing/business strategy, marketing planning, product management, product lifecycle management, market research, and communications)
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously and in ambiguous situations
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Proactive work style, working both independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated ability to influence and integrate individuals and cross-functional teams as well as external partners (e.g., physicians) to execute against strategic plans
- Ability to read, interpret, and communicate scientific or clinical publications and data
- Willingness to undertake domestic and international travel, approximately 30%
Desired Qualifications
- MBA or other advanced degree
- Knowledgeable of ascending aortic pathologies and treatment options, including open and endovascular approaches
- Previous experience working closely with physicians in a global role, supporting clinical trials, launching products, and managing commercial products
This role requires ongoing access to U.S. hospitals and compliance with facility-specific access policies (which may include a requirement to provide proof that you are fully vaccinated with one of the COVID-19 vaccines), vendor credentialing requirements including drug screening, background checks, immunization and training.
This position offers a remote work arrangement in the country from which the Associate is employed. Eligibility is dependent on the responsibilities of the role and business needs, and the Associate must agree to comply with Gore’s work arrangement policies.
