About the Role
We are looking for a Calibration Coordinator to join our calibration team at the Kendrick Peak facility in Flagstaff, Arizona. In this role you will work with technicians, customers, and support resources to coordinate and schedule shop services calibration activities. Standard work hours are Monday – Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm.
This role will be located at our facility in Flagstaff, Arizona.
Responsibilities
- Ensure quality system compliance as it relates to Calibration documentation in accordance with applicable regulations; 21CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, etc
- Coordinate calibration work with large customer base, i.e., Engineering, Leadership, Purchasing, and Vendors (when applicable), with the dual purpose of maximizing schedule efficiency and minimizing impact to customer
- Ensure calibration work is completed on time
- Ensure equipment is pulled on time and sent to outside vendors when necessary. Upon return of equipment, ensure asset has been released by calibration engineering prior to returning customer
- First point of contact within the calibration function for computerized maintenance management system training and questions
- Generate and share all calibration metrics and reports with leadership
- Maintain compliance with training expectations as required for this position
- Perform additional responsibilities as required within the scope of position
Required Qualifications
- Two-year technical degree or minimum 4 years scheduler/planner experience, or minimum 5 years’ experience as a calibration or maintenance technician
- Knowledge of calibration related regulations, standards, and guidance documents (21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, NIST, etc)
- Proficiency using computer programs such as asset management systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word, etc)
- Effectively complete tasks both independently and as a team member, while working towards team established goals
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task under pressure
- Ability to drive change and consistency across teams
- Ability to prioritize and multitask, as well as setting and meeting aggressive timelines
- Able and willing to work weekends and off-hours to meet customer needs
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with calibration management systems
- Clean room and controlled environment experience
- Performance of skilled trades work
