About the Role

We are looking for a Clinical Application Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with regional and global stakeholders by developing and leveraging deep clinical knowledge to support development, engineering to provide product training and technical support for commercially available products as well as support clinical training needs for new development products. You will contribute to the development of training materials as well as provide training and support to doctors, investigators of clinical study, Gore Field Sales Associates, and distributors etc.

  

This role will be located at our facility in Taipei, Taiwan. 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of clinical use, needs and trends through direct interactions with physicians
  • Leverages deep clinical knowledge to effectively align external needs and internal capabilities
  • Create and deliver product/clinical training to Gore Associates, HCP learners and distributors
  • Provide case support for complex procedures or clinical studies, including responding to emergency calls and physician inquiries
  • Support regulatory, marketing and product development activities via clinical literature reviews, in-house clinical evaluations, and study protocols
  • Review and analyzing CT, fluoroscopic, and echocardiographic imaging in support of product development, clinical research, and product surveillance
  • Establish, maintaining, and supporting appropriate procedures within the quality system 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in the clinical medical, pharmacy, biomedical science, or related discipline Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical specialist, professional education or clinical sales experience in medical devices or related field
  • Success experience working cross-functionally
  • English Proficiency – Business reading, writing, and speaking
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills for technical content
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret scientific or clinical publications and data
  • Be flexible in response to changing product and project commitments
  • Be influence internal and external partners; adapt to continual changes in travel schedules (for example, to support emergency clinical cases) and apply medical, surgical, and interventional skills and terminology
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, both domestically and globally

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with engineering and technology used in vascular interventional applications 

  • Prior experience with aortic endovascular technology, CT, fluoroscopy, and/or echocardiographic imaging; working within a Quality System environment, working experience in operating room, catheter lab, radiology, or cardiology departments 

  • Fluency in speaking English
