About the Role

We are seeking a skilled IT Application Developer – Power Platform to join our Gore Center of Excellence team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining solutions using Microsoft Power Platform. You will work closely with various departments to understand their needs and create solutions that enhance business processes and improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop applications using the entire suite of Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and CoPilot Agents.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, Solution Architects and Administrators to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions that follow existing governance.
  • Integrate Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft services, third-party applications, and in-house systems.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing Power Platform applications.
  • Conduct testing and troubleshooting to ensure the quality and functionality of applications.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Power Platform features and updates to continuously improve solutions.
  • Create technical documentation and user guides.

 

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in developing applications using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps (Canvas & Model Driven), Power Automate, Power BI.
  • Expert knowledge of building web parts, apps, page layouts and content types using the M365 API
  • Experience with SharePoint’s application services framework
  • Understanding of how to implement solutions with multiple data sources and connectors
  • Experienced in creating custom connectors of existing APIs for Power Platform.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, database design, and SQL.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 services, including SharePoint, Teams, and Dynamics 365.
  • Experience in Git and automated deployment for Power Platform solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication with the ability to collaborate with global team members and stakeholders and communicate technical concepts clearly.

Desired Qualifications

  • Microsoft Power Platform certifications and experience creating Plugins, PCF Components, Client Form Scripting, and cloud-native Azure services.
  • Experience interfacing Power Platform applications with SAP considered a plus.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and experience working in an international multi-cultural environment considered a plus.
