About the Role
We are offering an exciting internship from 01.10.2025 to support our GORE-TEX R&D Footwear team in the field of 3D prototyping for 6 months in Feldkirchen-Westerham, Greater Munich area. You will have the opportunity to help develop the innovations that make our products even better and more attractive.
Responsibilities
- Independent takeover of a sub-project and support through all phases of rapid prototyping, starting with 3D drawings, 3D printing and robotics
- Take a close look at the given situation and issue and develop sound solutions
- Work closely with your colleagues from research and development to further validate your solutions
- Gain insights into modern measurement methods and imaging processes
- Further explore the performance of our 3D printers and the associated software
- Carry out analyses based on the data you collect with a great deal of personal responsibility and interest
Qualifications
- You are a matriculated student in sports engineering, mechanical engineering, materials science, sports technology or a similar degree program
- Experience in working with 3D CAD programmes (e.g. SolidWorks (TM), Inventor) is essential
- You are fluent in German and English
- Communication is your strength
- You take a very structured and detail-orientated approach to new tasks
- You think analytically and have a so-called "research spirit"
- You like to take the initiative and are passionate about working in an international environment
- Teamwork is just as important to you as working independently
- Ideally, you have a passion for outdoor sports such as running
