About the Role
We are looking for a Clinical Specialist to join our Aortic Endovascular Medical Devices Team in the UK to provide clinical and technical support for Gore’s high quality, innovative and market leading Aortic endovascular medical products portfolio.
This is a remote position, and you can work from your home office in London/South UK.
Responsibilities
- Provide high level clinical and technical support in Gore Aortic Endovascular procedures, working in the operating room or vascular interventional lab
- Consult with Vascular Surgeons and Interventional Radiologists and be responsible for reading CT films, case planning, device sizing and selection
- Proactively build strong relationships with clinicians and key opinion leaders
- Partner with hospital departments and educational centres of excellence to deliver clinical product training and product presentations
- Be the knowledge expert for Gore Aortic Devices and disease state
- Deliver high value education at our flagship UK educational workshops, including simulators, demo devices, and flow model deployments
- Analyse and understand the market to successfully plan objectives and actions according to the business unit guidelines
- Deal with a range of stakeholders within hospital administrations, including Vascular Surgeons, Interventional Radiologists and Nursing Team
- Attend UK and European congresses and implement local sales promotion activities to support business and educational needs
- Be an active member of a great and very experienced team
Qualifications
- Proactive, driven and self-motivated
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build relationships based on trust with our physician customers and internal stakeholders
- A genuine and deep clinical interest, who is committed to successful patient outcomes
- Highly organised yet flexible and responsive to customer needs, with a strong sense of urgency
- Passionate about medical devices, with natural team-playing qualities
- Ability and desire to become a specialist and a consultative partner for our customers
- Ability to proactively plan, deliver and follow up with customers, with proven skills enabling you to prioritize and drive the business to success
- Experience in implantable Medical Devices either in sales or clinical support
- Ideally with a medical engineering or clinical background in the Vascular/Cardiac Interventional or Medical Devices environment
- Degree educated in science, technical or clinical discipline preferred
- Ability to undertake travel across UK as needed (travel time: 70%) – to support the clinical needs of our customers, to attend sales meetings, conferences, and trainings
- Located near a major UK airport
