About the Role
We are looking for a Logistics Leader (m/f/d) to join our team. In this role you are responsible for planning, managing, and continuously improving the logistics processes at the Putzbrunn 5 site as well as the connected logistics service providers. Your area of responsibility includes goods receipt, warehousing, production supply, and inventory management for raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished goods. In doing so, you help ensure reliable supply to our customers and other Gore plants.
In this leadership role, you will further develop the local logistics team, ensure compliance with internal standards, legal requirements, and relevant quality and safety requirements, and make an important contribution to the site’s logistics strategy as well as its cost and performance goals.
Responsibilities
- Functional and disciplinary leadership of the logistics team, including targeted support for team and capability development
- Ensuring stable logistics processes across warehousing, transportation, material flow, and inventory management
- Planning resources, capacities, and staffing to meet the needs of the team and business
- Responsibility for creating, maintaining, and ensuring compliance with logistics-related process documentation within the applicable quality management systems, including IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001
- Representing the logistics function in internal and external audits as well as certification and recertification processes
- Handling logistics-related customer complaints, including root cause analysis and sustainable corrective actions
- Working closely with production, planning, quality, purchasing, sales, finance, and external partners such as logistics service providers, freight forwarders, suppliers, and customers
Required Qualifications
- University degree in logistics, transportation, supply chain management, or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience
- At least three years of leadership experience in logistics, including responsibility for team leadership and development
- Strong knowledge of logistics processes and experience working with ERP, WMS and TMS systems, preferrably in an SAP environment
- Strong analytical, communication, and change management skills
- Team-oriented, collaborative personality with a structured and solution-oriented working style
- Fluent written and spoken German and English skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in regulated environments and with relevant quality and safety standards, e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949
- Experience in Lean, Continous Improvement desirable
