About the Role
We are currently looking for Manufacturing Operators to join our team in the Performance Solutions Division in Dundee, Scotland. As a Manufacturing Operator, you will be assembling and/or inspecting cable assemblies and harnesses, and may require to work in a cleanroom environment. Standard hours for these roles are: 8am – 5pm (Monday – Thursday) and 8am – 1pm (Friday).This role may also involve shift work

Follow area environmental safety practices, including the use of personal protective equipment while working with Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) and Engineering to include the use of personal protective equipment
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and participate in continuous improvement efforts
Perform quality inspection and testingPerform detailed and accurate record keeping for process documentation and data collection
Crosstrain in the long term in various other manufacturing areas
Utilize our quality system to ensure our process delivers products that meet customer needs and expectations that adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and International Standards Organization
Partner with cross functional teams to meet production goalsSupport occasional overtime and flex shift schedule, as needed
Required Qualifications
Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
Experience running simple mechanical equipment
Basic computer skills with ability to learn more advanced systems
Ability to working independently and in a team environment
Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing, including providing and responding to feedback
Demonstrated attention to detail while making product quality decisions, adhering to SOP’s and written work instructions
Ability to lift 35 lbs., bend, and inspect for the entire shiftAdapt to production schedule changes with the ability to work overtime
Desired Qualifications
One year manufacturing assembly experience of small parts
Experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and/or SAP Systems
Demonstrated ability to implement continuous improvement ideas
