About the Role
We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join our 3rd shift Manufacturing team at our Elk Mills 2 facility. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and cleaning manufacturing equipment within a clean concept manufacturing environment. This position offers opportunities for cross-training across multiple production processes and equipment while supporting production goals in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment. Standard hours will be 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Sunday through Friday.
This position will be located at our facility in Elkton, Maryland.
Pay and Benefits:
- $19 - $32 per hour
- This role is eligible for an additional $2/hr shift differential pay for evening, night, and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities
- Manufacture products by completing equipment setup, operation, cleaning, and troubleshooting activities.
- Operate a broad range of complex manufacturing process equipment.
- Perform detailed and accurate documentation, recordkeeping, and process reporting.
- Complete data entry and required system transactions.
- Follow written specifications, standard operating procedures, and work instructions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production schedules and business objectives.
- Participate in long-term cross-training opportunities across production areas, including inspection,slitting, and lamination.
- Maintain compliance with Clean Concepts, ISO standards, and applicable quality requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Experience operating mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience prioritizing tasks, multitasking, and adapting to changing priorities.
- Strong documentation, recordkeeping, and basic math skills.
- Basic computer proficiency with the ability to learn advanced software applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Demonstrated reliability and commitment to meeting production schedules and business deadlines.
- Strong manual dexterity and the ability to lift up to 35 pounds, bend, and perform visual inspections for extended periods. Must be able to pass visual acuity assessment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and sound decision-making skills regarding product quality.
- Willingness and ability to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), including E1, SAP, Compass.
- Experience operating inspection, slitting, lamination equipment and/or die-cutting machinery.
- Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment.
This role requires pre-hire medical clearance by Gore which may include testing to assess visual acuity and/or the ability to wear specific safety equipment as required during the performance of the role.
