About the Role

We are looking for a Marketing Specialist (f/m/d) to enable the promotion of the GORE-TEX brand with selected brand and retail partners via their marketing channels. In this role you will develop a strong relationship with their marketing teams by providing exceptional leadership, creativity, strategic thinking, flawless execution and proactive account management, all to ensure an exceptional customer/retailer experience.

 

This position will be located at our facility in Verona, Italy, with the possibility of a hybrid work arrangement.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Gore’s Sales and Marketing teams to understand our brand and retail partners’ business
  • Identify and align on marketing opportunities to drive the sell-in and sell-out of GORE-TEX product technologies
  • Build strong relationships with marketing leadership at our brand and retail partners through both virtual and face to face engagement
  • Actively collaborate with our brand and retail partners to develop seasonal marketing plans
  • Manage account specific investments and lead and measure marketing engagements
  • Develop customised content, with external agency partners if appropriate, and ensure this is shared internally for promotion on GORE-TEX channels
  • Input into the development and implementation of the seasonal and always-on regional marketing program, and drive new product launch communications
  • Execute online and in-person training clinics for stores, sales teams, and support personnel
  • Partner with the GORE-TEX PR team and brand and retailer PR teams to develop product announcements; subsequently drive amplification through PR channels and coordinate press relationships
  • Build a relationship with the local PR agency, keep them informed about the latest Gore developments and define actions for regional consumer PR activities

 

Required Qualifications

  • Business/Marketing Degree preferred with a proven track record and experience in B2C and B2B marketing, including PR, digital, retail marketing, brand, and event marketing
  • Demonstrated experience in driving marketing ROI and performance marketing results with limited investment levels
  • Strong capability in executing events, trainings and in-store activations
  • Strong track record of developing and delivering presentations in person and virtually
  • Comfortable with marketing analytics and financial management reporting
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills and ability to integrate across business and functions
  • Ability to develop marketing plans and drive implementation across multiple channels
  • Italian and English fluency
  • Ability to travel up to 30%

  • Ability to manage local agency resources and relationships
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across European sales and marketing functions

 

This position offers a hybrid work arrangement in the country from which the Associate is employed. Eligibility is dependent on the responsibilities of the role and business needs, and the Associate must agree to comply with Gore’s work arrangement policies.
