About the Role

We are looking for a Master Planner to join our Planning team, supporting both commercial production and new product innovation. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the Global S&OP process, managing long-term production plans and ensuring the resources needed to achieve business objectives are in place.

 

This position will be located in Elkton, Maryland, with the possibility of a hybrid work arrangement. 

 

Pay and Benefits:

  • $97,000 - $115,000 per year

Responsibilities

  • Integrate business processes to align with organizational goals.
  • Partner with product innovation teams to plan supply for development and commercial launches.
  • Investigate system and process capabilities to meet emerging needs.
  • Identify and implement ERP and planning system solutions to business problems.
  • Influence incorporation of new product development into S&OP processes.
  • Optimize supply chain operations for efficiency and scalability.
  • Develop and manage processes to coordinate custom manufacturing with external partners.
  • Implement supply chain improvements locally and globally.
  • Leverage enterprise systems and tools to deliver reporting solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance information sharing, compliance, and decision-making.
  • Develop and influence inventory strategies balancing risk and financial impact.
  • Manage Available-to-Promise activities for MTS and MTO orders based on business rules and capability.
  • Create and manage work orders and purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Analyze and manage supply constraints, making decisions that minimize disruption and support objectives.
  • Facilitate and optimize supply aspects of S&OP processes.
  • Utilize scenario planning to assess supply chain capability and propose risk mitigation options.

Required Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree in Supply Chain, business, technical, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in one or more of the following: Strategic Sourcing, Demand Planning , Master Scheduling, and/or Supply Chain Leadership.
  • Proven Experience in Sales and Operation Planning.
  • Proven Experience in Continuous Improvement.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.

Desired Qualifications

  • Inventory planning background
  • APICS (CPIM or CSCP) certification
  • Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tool

 

This position requires access to export-controlled areas and information. Candidates must be "U.S. persons" as that term is defined in 8 USC §1324b(a)(3). This position offers a hybrid work arrangement in the country from which the Associate is employed. Eligibility is dependent on the responsibilities of the role and business needs, and the Associate must agree to comply with Gore’s work arrangement policies.
