About the Role
We are looking for a student (f/m/d) to start as soon as possible to complete a master’s thesis in PR on “The Future of Strategic Communications” in collaboration with the GORE-TEX Brand / W. L. Gore & Associates. The objective is to explore the impact of AI and changing media consumption, analyze leading communications organizations, and develop practical recommendations for the GORE-TEX Brand’s future communications strategy and global operating model.
Responsibilities
- Analyze developments in AI, AI Search, and Large Language Models
- Examine changing information and media consumption patterns
- Assess the impact on visibility, credibility, and brand authority
- Benchmark leading international communications organizations
- Develop best-practice case studies
- Compare global and regional organizational and responsibility models
- Conduct literature, trend, media, and social media analyses
- Conduct and evaluate interviews with industry experts
- Develop strategic recommendations and present the findings to relevant stakeholders
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a master’s program, for example in communications, media, marketing, business administration, or a related field
- Strong interest in strategic communications, brand management, and organizational development
- Keen interest in AI and digital communications trends
- Experience with academic and qualitative research methods
- Ability to analyze complex topics in a structured manner
- Understanding of PR, social media, content, and international communications
- Strong research and benchmarking skills
- Independent, thorough, and results-oriented approach to work
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Excellent command of English; German language skills are an advantage
