About the Role
We are looking for a Medical EMEA Tender & Price Offer Leader to join our Sales Operations organisation, in a hybrid role based in Barcelona. In this role, you will provide leadership to the Medical EMEA Sales Contracts Team ensuring superior tender submissions, successful contract awarding, minimizing risks, ensuring compliance and accurate pricing administration related to customers in the medical business, this in close collaboration with various relevant partners e.g. Field Sales, Provider Selling Team, Quality Assurance and others.
Responsibilities
- Define and communicate vision, goals and priorities to the team, aligned to the Sales Operations priorities and Medical strategy.
- Provide clear expectations and continuous feedback on individual commitments and performance
- Coach and mentor team members
- Ensure that processes are current, accurate, and compliant with the Medical quality system and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize reporting tools and data to make informed business decisions
- Identify and act on opportunities/insights to improve processes, systems, and overall effectiveness within the team
- Ensure functional excellence, identify appropriate resourcing, work environment, tools, training, productivity enhancements, problem solving, coordinate team activities/workload and related communication
- Ensure business alignment, through working closely and partnering with Sales, Provider Selling Team, Field Sales Leaders, QA, and other relevant teams to understand priorities and business needs
- Set and regularly review key performance indicators and quality objectives for the Sales Contracts team
- Work closely with Sales, Provider Selling Team, Quality Assurance and other relevant teams in the Medical Products Division to ensure effective internal and external customer responses
- Additional responsibilities as required within the scope of this position
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 3 years of people leadership
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in tender and contracts environment
- Ability to motivate and lead a high performance team in a complicated and changing environment
- Effective and professional communication skills both written and oral; fluent in English and at least one other European language
- Proven ability to successfully influence change at all levels of leadership
- Manage competing priorities, workload assessment, and activities to meet objectives and timelines
- Experience with complex problem solving and implementing improvements
- Oriented to conflict management and consensus building
- Ability to create and maintain strong porfessional relationships
Desired Qualifications
- Experience is using SAP and Salesforce
- Experience working in Medical device tender environment
