About the Role
We are looking for a Field Sales Associate to join our Medical Products Division, supporting both the Surgical Solutions and Structural Heart businesses across Latin America. In this role, you will sell and promote existing and new implantable medical devices across approved areas and applications. You should be passionate about selling state-of-the-art medical technologies within surgical and interventional environments, including general surgery, plastic surgery, bariatrics and structural heart markets.
You will be energized by working for a world-class manufacturer, collaborating across cross-functional teams, and building strong relationships with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders.
This role covers the LATAM region. The candidate must reside in São Paulo or the surrounding area, Brazil. This is a remote position, and the Associate will work from home in accordance with business needs and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed sales forecasts
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with key customers and stakeholders
- Provide superior customer service and support product use during procedures, as needed
- Sell and promote new technologies across the Surgical Solutions and Structural Heart portfolios
- Analyze customer needs and identify growth opportunities across the territory
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, interventional cardiologists, and clinical teams
- Effectively prioritize time and manage territory activities
- Work effectively and cooperatively with sales associates and cross-functional teams across the region
- Comply with internal and external practices, procedures, and applicable healthcare requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Nursing, Health Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical device sales and/or clinical support
- Experience supporting surgical procedures and/or interventional cardiology environments
- Strong clinical and technical knowledge, including an understanding of medical, surgical, and interventional procedures and terminology
- Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with key customers and healthcare professionals
- Demonstrated technical selling skills, including the ability to quickly learn new products and new markets
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to work on call when needed
- Current, valid driver’s license
- Must have a valid U.S. visa and be available for international travel
- Must be fluent in English; the interview will be conducted in English. working knowledge of Spanish is preferred
- Ability to travel up to 70% across Latin America
- Must reside in São Paulo or the surrounding area, Brazil
Desired Qualifications
- Experience selling to general, plastic, or bariatric surgeons
- Experience with structural heart medical devices
- Postgraduate degree (MBA or specialization)
This position offers a remote work arrangement in the country from which the Associate is employed. Eligibility is dependent on the responsibilities of the role and business needs, and the Associate must agree to comply with Gore’s work arrangement policies.
