About the Role

We are seeking a Channel & Distributor Operations Associate to strengthen Gore Medical India’s operational backbone. This role will be the daily link between distributors, our 4PL partner, and internal teams, ensuring smooth operations, accurate reporting, and compliance with Gore’s global quality and customer service standards.

This position plays an important role in implementing distributor governance, quality systems, and customer feedback management as Gore India scales. It offers a strong development pathway into Sales Operations responsibilities. 

Responsibilities

 ▪ Distributor management and enablement

− Act as the day-to-day conduit between Gore Medical India, the Logistics Partner, and distributors.

− Run the monthly distributor review cadence: secondary sales, pipeline, stock/aging, claims, and corrective actions.

− Perform periodic distributor reviews and audits. Monitor compliance to distributor roles and responsibilities, code of conduct, and documentation standards.

− Screening of new distributor. 

 

▪ Distribution and logistics Coordination

 − Liaise with logistics partner for timely distributor shipments and order dispatches.

 − Oversee field case and consignment inventory controls in line with SOPs, including reconciliations and expiries.

 

▪ Tender & Compliance Support

− Supervise and coordinate distributor submissions for public/private tenders.

 − Ensure timely tender document preparation by monitoring deadlines and following up.

 − Arrange authority letters from US counterparts, collect supporting documents from Sales Leader, and ensure all submissions meet compliance requirements.

− Maintain tender tracking records for visibility and timely action. 

 

▪ Customer Service & Complaint Handling

 − Capture and summarize customer feedback, support complaint resolution.

 − Manage Adverse Device Reaction (ADR) reporting – summarize, fact-check, log into global system (post-approval), and maintain documentation.

 − Ensure safe handling and return of devices to the US with proper biohazard compliance.

 

▪ Reporting, analytics, and S&OP inputs

− Compile and analyze distributor data (purchases, sales, closing stock) to identify deviations or risks.

− Prepare clear reports and insights for Sales Ops Leader and Sales Leader. 

 

▪ Quality Systems & Governance

− Maintain operational records in alignment with Gore’s global quality management systems.

− Ensure distributor audits, data accuracy, and reporting meet compliance requirements.

− Support periodic reviews on adherence to Gore quality standards and operational readiness plans.

− Keep communication and documentation back-ups for audit readiness.

− Recommend process improvements to strengthen controls and operational efficiency. 

 

▪ Administrative and governance support

− Prepare review decks, minutes, action logs, and follow-through till closure.

− Manage office administrative tasks such as paperwork, document filing, courier dispatch, and stationery supplies.

− Support travel bookings, hotel arrangements, and logistics as needed.

− Assist with small-scale event planning, team meetings, and distributor workshops.

− Ensure smooth functioning of day-to-day office operations. 

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, life science or related field.

 • 2–6 years’ experience in distributor management, channel operations, or customer service in medical device, pharma or healthcare consumables.

• Exposure to quality systems, audits, and compliance frameworks

• Strong data analysis, Advanced Excel and PowerPoint.

• ERP/CRM exposure is an advantage.

• Clear written and verbal communication; fluent in English and Hindi.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. 

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in Google Analytics, Power BI.
  • Experience in Project Management.
