About the Role
W. L. Gore & Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced Americas Benefits Business Partner to join our Global Total Rewards Center of Expertise (COE). In this strategic role, you will lead the design, delivery, and evolution of benefits strategies for the Americas region, ensuring alignment with Gore’s distinctive culture and Total Rewards philosophy. You will shape programs that enhance the health, well-being, and engagement of our Associates while supporting business and talent objectives.
This position will be based at one of our Newark, Delaware facilities, with hybrid work options available depending on role responsibilities and business needs.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver benefits programs across the Americas, ensuring alignment with global and regional business objectives
- Manage and optimize relationships with external partners – including benefits administration vendors, health and welfare providers, consultants, and brokers – to ensure service quality and value
- Provide strategic consultation on benefits program design to enhance offerings, balance investments, and support attraction and retention
- Support the implementation of new programs and the ongoing evolution of existing programs
- Monitor and understand regulatory changes, market trends, and competitive practices to maintain compliance and program effectiveness
- Partner with HR and the business to communicate Gore’s benefits philosophy, fostering Associate understanding and engagement
- Collaborate with Global Total Rewards Leader and Finance to analyze benefits investments, assess program effectiveness, and prepare executive summaries with data-driven recommendations
- Coordinate resolution of complex or escalated benefits issues across internal stakeholders and external partners
- Develop, implement, and assess wellness programs that align with Gore’s benefits and healthcare strategies
- Contribute to cross-functional projects that advance Total Rewards and support Enterprise priorities
- Partner with Procurement on benefit vendor selection, RFP processes, and vendor management.
- Oversee benefits communications and materials, ensuring clarity and engagement
- Leverage team expertise and contribute to the development and growth of team members
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in benefits, vendor management, or HR with significant benefits expertise
- Deep understanding of benefits administration, vendor governance, contracting, and service-level management
- Demonstrated business and financial acumen with the ability to link benefits strategy to organizational goals
- Proficiency with HR systems and data analytics for insights and decision-making
- Strong consulting, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and competing priorities in a matrixed or global environment
- Flexible, independent, and comfortable working in an evolving environment with limited precedent
- Ability to travel up to 5%
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with process management and continuous improvement methodologies
- Professional certifications such as WorldatWork CBP, CCP, or GRP (or equivalent)
This position offers a hybrid work arrangement in the country from which the Associate is employed. Eligibility is dependent on the responsibilities of the role and business needs, and the Associate must agree to comply with Gore’s work arrangement policies.
