About the Role

Gore Medical is looking for a Product Operations Leader to join our team. In this role, you will provide leadership to a cross-functional team with accountability for the global supply and profitability of one or more medical products, managing the product family value stream to ensure reliable supply and optimize performance.

 

This position will be located at our facility in Phoenix, Arizona, with the possibility of a hybrid work arrangement. 

Responsibilities

  • Lead, inspire, engage, and develop a high-performing, cross-functional commercial manufacturing team, including manufacturing leaders, product-aligned engineering, fostering collaboration and leadership growth
  • Drive the deployment and sustainment of the Gore Business System (GBS) across the organization
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain Leaders to define and drive key performance indicators (KPIs) and goals that advance business, and functional, strategies, enhancing our ability to meet customer demand. Monitor KPI's for all team members to ensure appropriate problem solving when off track using standard daily management practices
  • Cultivate a zero-injury culture, ensuring Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) requirements and processes are fully integrated into business decisions and daily operations 
  • Develop creative, value-driven solutions to reconcile supply and demand, balancing risk and opportunity in collaboration with key partners
  • Ensure compliance and adherence to workforce-related policies, including evolving quality systems and regulatory requirements, fostering a culture of quality and accountability
  • Lead through change with positivity and resilience, ensuring effective execution of Medical and Enterprise-wide projects and initiatives that impact the team and operations 
  • Drive alignment of demand and supply through S&OP process. Manage supply and inventory. Define long term global capacity plan for the product line ensuring all functions and suppliers are aligned 
  • Support NPD teams regarding operations ensuring aligned stakeholder requirements are approved to meet supply chain standards, operational readiness and profitable value stream
  • Establish clear expectations of equitable and inclusive behaviors from Associates and act immediately to appropriately address unfair behavior

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations, or engineering, with a minimum of 7 years of relevant manufacturing experience 
  • Minimum of 5 years of direct people leadership experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment, with a proven track record of developing high-performing teams 
  • Expertise in Lean manufacturing, Kaizen, daily management systems and tools (e.g., visual management, tiered meetings, root cause analysis) with a proven track record of optimizing efficiency, throughput, and operational performance 
  • Demonstrated experience in creating and maintaining an inclusive work environment with clear understanding of equitable practices  
  • Deep understanding of mechanical systems and standardized manufacturing processes  
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to balance short-term execution with long-term strategic planning 
  • Proven capability to coach, mentor, and develop associates and leaders across diverse functional disciplines, through excellent leadership, influencing, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to establish, track, and drive improvement against critical KPIs for manufacturing operations, including setting up regular performance reviews and course correction processes
  • Proven ability to perform under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and consistently meet tight deadlines in a dynamic manufacturing environment
  • Ability to travel up to 10% 

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in a medical device manufacturing environment
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification or equivalent  

 

This position offers a hybrid work arrangement in the country from which the Associate is employed. Eligibility is dependent on the responsibilities of the role and business needs, and the Associate must agree to comply with Gore’s work arrangement policies.
