About the Role

We are looking for a HR Business Partner to join our team within Gore Medical Products. In this role you will provide strategic consultation and thought leadership to Supply Chain leadership team members and their teams to forecast, identify, build and implement proactive business and talent solutions that align with enterprise people strategies. All responsibilities rest on a foundation of using data driven decisions. We see our HR team members as business partners, making decisions and influencing through a people lens.

 

This position will be located at our facility in Phoenix, Arizona, with the possibility of a hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities

  • Provide HR leadership and partner with leadership to drive processes in support of the associate and leader life cycle
  • Monitor/assess the effectiveness of human resources programs and processes, use metrics to evaluate progress, and take actions as appropriate to achieve improvement
  • Drive the Performance Management and Compensation Review processes for client groups and ensure consistency and appropriate rigor for talent calibration and succession planning
  • Partner with HR Leader and client group leaders on the Talent Review process, and the creation of development plans for leaders and associates within the group
  • Direct, execute or coordinate with managers on the proper handling of associate relations issues, disciplinary actions and resolution of associate complaints in an effort to provide fair and consistent treatment
  • Collaborate in the development and implementation of Human Resources programs and initiatives in support of organizational priorities
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation
  • Manage large-scale projects for client groups, such as performance review process, compensation/merit review cycle, associate engagement survey, and organizational restructuring

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or experience in a strategic HR business partner role
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience in HR business partnership facing roles  
  • Demonstrated experience of collecting business needs, providing counsel, and providing tangible results with a business impact
  • Capability in leadership coaching, facilitation, conflict resolution, and change management
  • Demonstrated capability in right application of human resources policies, practices, and processes in high judgement environment
  • Strong inter-personal relationship and communication skills, written and verbal
  • Influencing skills, and ability to work across a matrix organization
  • Ability to establish credibility (garners respect, acts with integrity, keeps commitments); proactive (has a point of view, challenges assumptions, takes initiative); and a trusted thought-partner (builds relationships, delivers results)
  • Ability to be comfortable in operating through risk and uncertainty in a high- volume work environment
  • Ability to work effectively in an in-plant setting and ability to travel up to 15%

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in driving and implementing effective Integrated Talent processes
  • Minimum 8 years of progressively complex HR experience to include but not limited to Associate Relations, Compensation, and Organizational Design
  • SPHR or GPHR certification

 

This position offers a hybrid work arrangement in the country from which the Associate is employed. Eligibility is dependent on the responsibilities of the role and business needs, and the Associate must agree to comply with Gore’s work arrangement policies.
