About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Medical Copywriter to join our team. In this in-house creative role, the Senior Medical Copywriter will provide medical copywriting and content-editing support for commercial services to the US and global product teams across vascular, cardiac, and surgical solutions. This is an opportunity to join a team of dedicated creative professionals who support our marketing partners through the creation of sales and marketing materials. 

 

This is a remote position, and you can work from home in most locations within the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Develop original promotional copy that supports strategic objectives, with an emphasis on product-promotional content, clinical claims, and healthcare professional audiences.
  • Collaborate with marketers, functional marketing partners, PMO, and other internal stakeholders to understand business goals, customer needs, audience insights, and channel requirements.
  • Help ensure content is scientifically accurate, strategically aligned, compliant, and optimized for its intended audience and channel.
  • Optimize technical content for commercial and non-commercial uses, including field sales, training, launch-readiness, and internal education materials.
  • Translate technical expertise and partner input into clear, engaging copy; edit for sense, structure, narrative flow, headlines, subheads, calls to action, and copy best practices.
  • Create and edit a range of deliverables, including brochures, flyers, sales aids, video scripts, web copy, banner copy, native ads, LinkedIn posts, research stimuli, press releases, presentations, and FAQ documents.
  • Apply and maintain the organization’s brand voice and tone across all copy.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in technical writing, English, communications, journalism, creative writing, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years writing for medical device, life sciences, healthcare, or similarly regulated industries
  • Demonstrated ability to create clear, compelling content for diverse professional audiences
  • Strong portfolio showcasing product promotion, digital marketing, sales enablement, and campaign content. 
  • Experience translating complex clinical and scientific concepts into clear, audience-appropriate messaging. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a matrixed environment. 
  • Ability to be self-motivated, professional, detail-oriented, and possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time.
