About the Role
We are looking for a full-time Regional Planning Leader to join our Gore Fabrics organization in Putzbrunn 3. In this role, you will ensure the integrity and effectiveness of supply and inventory plans across the PU3 planning scope. You will lead a team of planners, represent the SC Planning function locally, and be accountable for the execution of all in scope business processes in Putzbrunn3 and as applicable global process.
As a key member of the Plant Leadership Team, your and your team’s performance will be measured against overall plant performance of Putzbrunn3 while driving functional excellence, continuous improvement, and strong collaboration across the Supply Chain organization and business functions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning team to effectively execute on demand planning and supply chain strategy, including inventory management.
- Serve as a member of the PU3 Plant Leadership Team with shared accountability for PU3 plant performance and goals.
- Define, implement and maintain internal planning policies to meet internal stakeholders and external customer and partner needs.
- Balance the team’s focus between daily operational objectives, strategic customer commitments and meeting long‑term strategic SC goals.
- Ensure consistent execution of S&OP processes, policies, and best practices.
- Identify, lead, and support local, regional and OPCO programs and processes to excel in operational performance.
- Conduct Performance & Development discussions and manage performance related matters within your team.
- Coach, mentor, and support Associates; serve as hiring champion as needed.
- Local responsibility to drive functional excellence and continuous improvement within the planning area.
- Own functional metrics, identify gaps, and implement effective corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance and effective utilization of planning tools and systems in line with best practices.
- Build and develop a high‑performing team with a strong lean and Gemba‑focused mindset.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA or corresponding degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a technical field or
- Minimum 5 years of planning experience in a manufacturing and/or trade environment.
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience, with a demonstrated ability to lead teams.
- Proven track record of delivering results and solving complex problems.
- Strong ability to influence cross‑functional teams, leaders and different stakeholders to achieve business outcomes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German.
- Demonstrated Process-thinking, problem-solving and lean mindset
Desired Qualifications
- APICS/ASCM CPIM or CSCP certification.
- Experience as a Master Planner, Demand Planner, or Master Scheduler.
- Expertise with SAP (ERP) and reporting/analytics tools.
- Lean / Continuous Improvement experience.
- Experience with MES systems
