About the Role
We are looking for a Medical EMEA Sales Leader (f/m/d) to join our Commercial Team. In this role, you will drive outstanding sales performance and lead a dynamic team across all business segments within the region.
This is a remote position with home office within EMEA in proximity to a well-connected international airport as travel is expected around 50%.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive regional sales strategy aligned with organizational objectives
- Lead, coach, and inspire the EMEA sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets
- Participate in annual sales forecasting and market potential assessment
- Represent Sales on the Medical EMEA Core Leadership team and collaborate with Global Business Groups and Global Sales Leader
- Foster strong partnerships with Marketing and other support functions
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and community, exhibit a “we” mentality with ability to successfully collaborate and influence across support functions
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with key customers, providers, and local teams
- Continuously improve the sales team performance through recruitment, training, and motivation
- Ensure optimal organizational structure at the country level for maximum impact
- Monitor and manage key performance metrics, including revenue and inventory levels
- Oversee day-to-day sales operations, budget, and investments within the region
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in medical device sales
- Minimum 5 years of successful experience in sales leadership roles
- Proven track record of team guidance, coaching, and development
- Experience in performance management and organizational development
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills
- Proficient in leveraging lean thinking and the Gore Business System
- Exceptional relationship-building and cross-functional collaboration abilities
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and foster a collaborative environment
- Commitment to diversity and inclusion in the workplace
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% of the time to maintain relationships in the field and market presence
