About the Role

The Fabrics Ingredient Business Unit (IBU) is seeking a Pricing Execution Champion (f/m/d) in our global Safety and Defense segments to join our Garments Product Operations Team.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving the Safety & Defense pricing execution process including the creation and maintenance of reference price lists in partnership with our Sales team. You will also be responsible for pricing data reporting to support strategic pricing decisions and maintaining pricing data in SAP and SalesForce systems. Overall you will get an exciting opportunity to help support and strengthen our mission to

protect end-users in harsh environments who demand the best solutions and enable our profitable growth targets.   

The position will be located at our facility in Putzbrunn near Munich, Germany or in one of our facilities in the Eastern Cluster, USA with work from home days possible as part of a hybrid arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.

 

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Support and participate in the strategic pricing process for our global Garments business with analysis & data as required
  • Be an active member of the Global Product Ops Pricing team driving continuous improvement of tools & processes
  • Understand and utilize the output from the strategic decisions to drive the annual regional price setting processes with the PS team in our Safety & Defense garments business
  • Drive the annual pricing review/price setting process with the 3x regions NA, EMEA, APAC: developing data & analysis required and supporting the PS teams to make annual decisions for Safety & Defense reference pricing
  • Drive simplification of Safety & Defense non-contract pricing: work with responsible PS to implement standard structures & remove price exceptions
  • Create & maintain the Safety & Defense Garments Laminate & Seam tape price lists and own communication to the Sales team: working with Product Range Management to create accurate annual & category product lists
  • Prepare product pricing data [cleansing, formatting, validating] for SAP pricing management including contract pricing data collation. Understand the structure of pricing logic on SAP and be able to resolve issues on SAP with the digital team
  • Responsible for driving the upload of the Salesforce price book for Safety & Defense and undertakes all maintenance of SalesForce pricing
  • Maintain the Safety & Defense pricing pages in SharePoint ensuring optimal interface for users, collaborating with the Consumer pricing analyst

 

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years work experience in a business environment
  • Highly interested in business processes with an analytical approach
  • Interest in pricing and product profitability
  • Self-motivated and can work independently in a challenging environment
  • Data oriented, with good attention to detail & able to handle high complexity
  • Excellent proficiency with MS Excel and other business & reporting systems

 

Desired Qualifications

  • Masters level education
  • Specific experience with SAP, SalesForce, Power BI reporting
  • Experience of Gore products and /or textile industry
