About the Role
We are looking for a working student (f/m/d) to start as soon as possible to support our Product Operations team in Putzbrunn with managing the product sampling process required to enable the sales process for our Safety and Defense business as well as supporting internal and external test requirements for Gore laminates. In this role you will be able to apply technical knowledge by preparing samples for product sampling and testing. Furthermore, you will be actively involved in the development and implementation of a future digital solution and the outsourcing of the sampling process
We are looking to fill the position starting immediately for ca 60 hrs/month, for at least 6 months.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the product teams in Safety and Defense to select relevant products for the sampling process
- Manage the process of producing the swatch cards for the sampling process
- Responsible for order fulfilment for the sample process to enable the sales team to sell products in Safety and Defense
- Work closely with the leadership in Product Operations on designing and implementing a future state process, levering digital capabilities and outsourcing options
- Partner with new product development, quality, and certification teams to support internal and external test requirements for Gore laminates and tapes
Qualifications
- You are currently an enrolled student with an interest in product / technical related topics
- You enjoy working independently and thoroughly
- Demonstrated ability to leverage critical thinking to identify technical uncertainties and failure modes
- Demonstrated ability to understand interactions between process, equipment, and materials
- Good PC skills, especially MS Office and databases
- You can communicate in both English and German (written and verbal)
