About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst / Manager to join the Fabrics Operating Company Finance Team. This is a key position within our Finance Team to shape the organization’s New Product Development and align the portfolio to achieve future growth aspirations. The successful candidate will support the Research and Development (R&D) Leadership Team and Innovation Portfolio Governance team. We would also like this role to support our Garments business unit by partnership with segment teams on new product development projects and other strategic initiatives to support long-term financial planning objectives.
This position will be located in Elkton, Maryland, with the possibility of a hybrid work arrangement.
Pay and Benefits:
- $126,000 - $153,000 per year
- Roles above $150k are eligible for the variable pay program each fiscal year, based on defined business performance metrics.

Responsibilities
- Partnership with R&D Leadership team on executing financial objectives though data analytics, and portfolio/investment choice making.
- Leadership role on the execution of the R&D investment planning processes including the strategic plan, operating plan, financial forecast, and quarterly outlooks.
- Provide timely financial analysis and commentary on performance to forecasts to R&D leadership team. Help support moving from manual Excel analytics to an automated reporting solutions through our new PowerBi analytics platform.
- Partnership with Innovation leaders to improve the return on investment on R&D investments by providing thought leadership within the innovation space, enhancing portfolio management metrics, evaluating internal results through benchmarking, and enabling comparability across projects through a prioritization scorecard.
- Coordinating and enhancing our financial analysis of key innovation projects by understanding key milestones on projects, lead our financial analyst team on delivering financial model results, and increasing divisional consistency on our financial modelling practices. Also help improve data quality and provide training to finance and innovation associates.
- Support the Garments business unit by partnering with segment teams on new product development projects and other strategic initiatives to support the long term financial objectives of the Garments business unit.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business
- Minimum of 7 years progressive finance and business analysis experience
- Experience developing financial models and/or discounted cash flow analysis
- Proficiency with financial analytics tools and Microsoft Office tools
- Strong collaboration and relationship building skills, including success working in cross-functional teams
- Ability to effectively communicate complex information across a broad range of stakeholders
- Experience working with large sets of data and deriving insights
- Capable of identifying best practices and influencing teams to incorporate into standard business rhythm
- Experience developing and using KPIs/metrics to evaluate performance
- Ability to travel up to 10%
Desired Qualifications
- Master in Business Admistration or other post graduate education
- Experience in a global manufacturing environment
- Experience with Cognos, TM1, SAP, Tableau, and/or Power BI for building business analytics dashboards
- Advance Microsoft Excel skills (preferably Monte Carlo / risk-based modeling)
