About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Configuration Specialist – Logistics & Warehouse Management (LWM) to join our Global Capability Center in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will support the design, implementation, and enhancement of SAP S/4HANA warehouse, inventory, logistics, and fulfillment solutions. You will work closely with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Technology teams to deliver effective solutions that improve inventory visibility, warehouse efficiency, fulfillment, and operational performance. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in SAP EWM, with good working knowledge of SAP MM, Inventory Management (IM), and warehouse processes

Responsibilities

  • Requirement Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate with business and functional teams to understand warehouse, inventory, and logistics requirements; document processes and translate business needs into SAP EWM/MM/IM functional specifications and configuration requirements.
  • SAP EWM Configuration: Configure and support core EWM processes including inbound and outbound operations, putaway, picking, packing, internal warehouse movements, stock transfers, physical inventory, and warehouse order processing.
  • SAP MM/IM Integration: Support EWM integration with SAP MM/Inventory Management for goods receipts, goods issues, stock transfers, transfer postings, stock types, and inventory synchronization.
  • Process Optimization: Analyze warehouse processes and identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy, warehouse productivity, fulfillment, and operational efficiency using standard SAP functionality and best practices.
  • 3PL & Automation Integration: Support integration of SAP EWM with 3PL providers, warehouse automation solutions, and external logistics partners. Define interface requirements, coordinate testing, and troubleshoot integration issues.
  • Functional & Technical Collaboration: Partner with ABAP, integration, and technical teams to develop functional specifications for interfaces, reports, enhancements, forms, workflows, and SAP/non-SAP integrations.
  • Testing & Deployment: Develop test scenarios and execute unit, integration, regression, and UAT testing. Support defect resolution, deployment, cutover, go-live, and post-production stabilization activities.
  • Production Support & Troubleshooting: Analyze and resolve functional issues across SAP EWM, MM, and IM processes, perform root-cause analysis, and provide timely support for warehouse and logistics operations.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Maintain functional and configuration documentation, process flows, test scripts, and user guides. Conduct knowledge transfer and training for business users and support teams.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of SAP experience, with hands-on experience in SAP Logistics and Warehouse Management processes, preferably in SAP S/4HANA environments.
  • Strong functional knowledge of SAP EWM, including inbound, outbound, putaway, picking, packing, internal movements, stock transfers, physical inventory, and warehouse execution processes.
  • Good working knowledge of SAP MM and Inventory Management (IM), including goods receipts, goods issues, transfer postings, stock movements, and integration with warehouse processes.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP configuration, with the ability to understand business requirements, perform configuration, and support functional changes within EWM and related logistics processes.
  • Experience in SAP implementation, rollout, enhancement, or support projects, covering requirement gathering, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Experience working with integrations and external systems, including interfaces between SAP EWM and MM/IM, 3PL providers, warehouse automation solutions, and other SAP/non-SAP applications.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to investigate functional issues, perform root-cause analysis, and work with technical teams to resolve EWM, MM, and IM-related problems and Good communication and collaboration skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working with warehouse and distribution operations, preferably in a global or multi-site environment.
  • Exposure to SAP Transportation Management (TM), warehouse automation, RF solutions, or mobile warehouse technologies.
  • Experience working in an international multi-cultural environment considered a plus.
