About the Role

We are looking for an SAP STP Solutions Architect to join our Medical team. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end architecture, design, and governance of Source-to-Pay solutions across SAP and integrated platforms. You will ensures scalable, compliant, and business-aligned STP processes spanning sourcing, procurement, contracting, invoicing, and payments, while partnering closely with business, finance, and IT stakeholders.

 

This position will be located at our facility in Flagstaff or Phoenix, Arizona, or any of our facilities in Elkton, Maryland or Santa Clara, California, with the possibility of a hybrid work arrangement.

 

Pay and Benefits:

  • $135,000 - $173,000 per year
  • Roles above $150k are eligible for the variable pay program each fiscal year, based on defined business performance metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Own and govern the end-to-end STP solution architecture across SAP and integrated platforms
  • Act as the design authority for STP enhancements, ensuring consistency, compliance, and scalability
  • Partner closely with Procurement, Finance, Tax, and IT to translate business needs into sustainable SAP solutions
  • Drive incremental improvements to existing processes, integrations, and controls
  • Provide architectural guidance during incidents, defects, and regulatory changes
  • Leverage institutional knowledge to balance speed, stability, and long-term design integrity
  • Act as a Solutions expert working with technical teams to document functional specifications, configuration rationale documents and other associated design documents

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
  • Minimum 10 years SAP experience with minimum 2 years of S/4 Hana implementations
  • Experience with SAP Ariba integrations and working knowledge of SBN (Supplier business network)
  • Experience navigating internal governance, controls, and release processes
  • Strong understanding of current SAP STP processes, master data and data flows
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a run + change environment
  • Ability to influence without authority and align cross-functional teams
  • Ability to travel up to 30%, inlcuding domestic & international travel

 

Desired Qualifications

  • Good understanding of integrations and design with other functional areas
  • Solid understanding of procurement controls and compliance
  • Ability to lead global teams, build winning teams and drive best in class standard industry solutions

 

This position offers a hybrid work arrangement in the country from which the Associate is employed. Eligibility is dependent on the responsibilities of the role and business needs, and the Associate must agree to comply with Gore’s work arrangement policies.
