In this role, you will be responsible for defining and driving the overall SAP testing strategy across programs and projects. In addition, this role provides hands-on testing leadership while coordinating test teams, ensuring high-quality SAP solutions that meet business, regulatory, and technical requirements. The SAP Test Analyst acts as the primary point of contact for SAP testing activities and works closely with business, functional, and technical stakeholders. This is an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team, expand your expertise across SAP technologies, and help shape our digital transformation journey.

Responsibilities

•    Define and own the SAP test strategy, approach, standards, and best practices-- including developing and managing master test plans, test schedules, and resource plans, in addition to ensuring alignment of testing activities with program milestones and release cycles.
•    Establish test metrics, KPIs, and reporting for leadership and stakeholders.
•    Lead and oversee system, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing across SAP landscapes-- including performing hands-on testing for complex or high-risk SAP scenarios, ensuring coverage of critical business processes, interfaces, data migration, reports, and security roles, as well as review and approve test cases, test evidence, and defect severity/prioritization.
•    Own defect triage, prioritization, and root-cause analysis in collaboration with development and functional teams-- including  proactively identifying testing risks and quality gaps, driving mitigation plans, as well as ensuring timely resolution and re-testing of defects before go-live.
•    Lead, mentor, and coach SAP test analysts and offshore/onshore test teams while serving to coordinate testing activities across business users, system integrators, and vendors.
•    Act as the primary testing liaison for business stakeholders and UAT participants.
•    Plan and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including entry/exit criteria and business sign-off.
•    Support cutover, dress rehearsals, and go-live readiness activities.
•    Ensure test artifacts support audit, compliance, and release approvals.
•    Remain current with all relevant technologies and best practices, contributing new ideas to the team where needed.

Required Qualifications

•    8+ years of overall testing experience with significant SAP testing leadership, including Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
•    Strong hands-on experience with S/4HANA and ECC, with a deep understanding of SAP end-to-end business processes and integrations.
•    Experience leading testing for SAP implementations, upgrades, or S/4HANA transformations.
•    Proven experience managing test teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
•    Expertise with test and defect management tools (e.g., ALM, Jira, Azure DevOps).
•    Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
•    Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, experience with creating presentations for complex SAP design topics.
•    Knowledge of the SAP environment (S/4HANA preferred) and its various modules, data dictionary and database management principles, including familiarity with industry best practices for SAP configuration.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent collaboration abilities (with both technical and non-technical audiences), including demonstrated capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively across diverse stakeholders.
•    Travel ~10%.

Desired Qualifications

•    Experience implementing SAP test automation strategies (Tricentis Tosca).
•    Exposure to SAP Activate methodology and agile/hybrid delivery models.
•    Knowledge of data migration, interface testing, and security/authorization testing.
