About the Role
The Strategic Project Manager serves as a strategic partner to the Business Leader, leading cross-functional initiatives, driving operational alignment, and ensuring the business operates with clarity, accountability, and momentum. Acting as an internal integrator, this role bridges strategic priorities with tactical execution—streamlining processes, enabling collaboration, and unlocking capacity across the leadership team. The ideal candidate brings a systems mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to influence without authority.
This position will be located at our facility in Bozeman, Montana, with the possibility of a hybrid/onsite work arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted partner to the business leader, helping shape strategic priorities, operational roadmaps, and leadership agendas
- Drive cross-functional alignment and execution, ensuring teams are coordinated around shared objectives, timelines, and outcomes
- Facilitate executive operating rhythms, including business reviews, leadership meetings, and strategic planning cycles
- Lead critical cross-functional programs and projects, managing milestones, risks, and deliverables across departments
- Identify and improve operational inefficiencies, designing and implementing repeatable processes that enhance focus and speed
- Integrate strategic initiatives into day-to-day operations, ensuring visibility, accountability, and sustained progress across the organization
- Develop executive-level communications and reporting, including business updates, dashboards, and board materials
- Anticipate organizational bottlenecks and communication gaps, proactively creating solutions that keep the business running smoothly
- Support org-wide change management efforts, helping teams adapt to new processes, roles, or systems
- Model a culture of ownership, collaboration, and results, and foster connectivity across departments and leaders
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business operations, strategic program management, or consulting—within a high-growth consumer brand environment
- Experience with consumer brand KPIs, or other goal-setting frameworks, and aligning strategy with measurement and accountability
- Proven success leading cross-functional initiatives, working across departments to align teams and drive results without direct authority
- Strong operational acumen, with experience designing consumer business processes, solving executional gaps, and improving efficiency at scale
- Excellent communication and executive presence, with the ability to influence leaders and navigate complex organizational dynamics
- High EQ and relationship-building skills, with a natural ability to integrate across diverse teams and personalities
- Fluency in project and program management, with tools like Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet, or equivalent
- Comfortable in ambiguity, with a proactive mindset and the ability to create clarity from complexity
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple initiatives and timelines simultaneously
- Ability to travel 10%
