About the Role

We are looking for a Wholesale Channel Leader to join our SITKA®, team. In this role, you will be responsible for elevating SITKA’s wholesale business through a clear, data-driven strategy that complements our DTC priorities. This role oversees the full wholesale portfolio, managing performance targets and driving segmentation, distribution, and sell-through strategies that deliver a consistent, premium consumer experience. You will partner closely with Merchandising, Planning, Marketing, Creative, and Operations to align the channel to our broader go-to-market vision. This is a role for a builder—someone who can raise standards, strengthen execution, and lead a high-performing wholesale team toward scalable, profitable growth. 

 

This position will be located at our facility in Bozeman, Montana, with the possibility of a hybrid work arrangement. Relocation assistance is available for this position.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive wholesale channel strategies elevating the wholesale consumer experience to deliver high-end touchpoints.
  • Actively manage the wholesale portfolio globally and make data-driven decisions based on insights provided through qualitative and quantitative KPIs.
  • Establish and monitor wholesale performance goals and ensure execution to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual KPIs (sell-in, sell through, at-once, pre-books, margin, etc.).
  • Implement and refine an account tiering strategy prioritizing key accounts and delivering a consistent, high-end consumer experience.
  • Partner with merchandising to define and deliver a segmented distribution strategy providing the right product, in the right places, and with the right experience for the consumer.
  • Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to prioritize marketing initiatives focused on driving sell-through (co-op investments, events, merchandising directives, etc.) and in alignment account tiering.
  • Develop and implement brand & product training at an appropriate cadence & methods to meet the needs of SITKA and wholesale accounts.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to provide a wholesale channel perspective on product planning, demand planning, warehouse forecasting, pricing and profitability, sales forecasting, and merchandising strategy to maintain a competitive advantage and grow the wholesale channel.
  • Lead, develop, and proactively communicate amongst, internal sales associates, sales reps, inside sales, sales operations, and the collective wholesale team.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in apparel and footwear consumer brand sales
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience directly leading sales teams (sales channel leaders, account sales reps) of employed and contract roles in a +$300M B2C and B2B premium consumer brand
  • Proven track record driving scalable and profitable revenue through wholesale growth initiatives including segmentation and tiering
  • Experience measuring and delivering KPIs from wholesale sales and marketing strategies and investments
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract insights from different data sources and make data-driven decisions
  • Cross-functional, strategic orientation with an ability to execute in a fast-paced, deadline driven, agile environment
  • Proven ability to build and manage a highly productive and functionally diverse sales team
  • Self-directed with the ability to take initiative and confidently direct customer interactions
  • Ability to travel up to 50%

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous experience or strong interest in the outdoor hunting and fishing space

 

This position offers a hybrid work arrangement in the country from which the Associate is employed.  Eligibility is dependent on the responsibilities of the role and business needs, and the Associate must agree to comply with Gore’s work arrangement policies.
